Tottenham riots
i hear ya and i respect the fact your frank about your opinions, but as i mentioned also the rioters, looters, arsonist etc are not just all made up of benefit scrounging chavs hence why i was highlighting its beyond just opportunist taking advantage. I would hardly call things a revolution as probably alot of the rioters dont even know about the guy but the government and authorities attitude towards the public havent helped and now people are taking matters into there own hands (shopkeepers putting themselves at risk protecting their businesses, vigilante groups etc) I mentioned the budget cuts as ONE of the things that has or could have contributed to what is happening. almost everyone is feeling the strain and with no real solution in place or happening this is the kind of BS that happens.

Tottenham riots
.....I do agree there are some idiots that are just copying for the sake of it tho

Tottenham riots
yeah but its no longer a problem that is affecting Tottenham is it? its nationwide and if you were there or looked at other videos instead of looking at the same looped news footage you would have noticed alot of opportunist from different backgrounds took advantage of the situation in Tottenham, not just chavs etc. How do you know he was a gang member when the info has been so sketchy? the news have changed his age 4 times, the report on the indecent is still changing as reports have said the bullet that hit the other officer was from another CO19 officer. im not defending the incident or the man but i think its better to be impartial about things till we really know all the facts. if you really think the nation only is rioting because of some chavs fellow brethren then sorry to say i think your being narrow minded to the issues around why the nation as a whole is reacting this way. chavs and the delinquents that are like them will always be chavs. We didnt see a reaction like this from other incidents like this in the past? Tension has been building as a result of a few things such as the budget cuts etc and however stupid people are behaving over the last few days that has been a contributing factor. sad times.....

Tottenham riots
hmmm. right so if if race aint an issue for you then why mention it? Yep ur right in regards to there is no need to be all PC about it and there's reasons but no excuses for those involved so if you have eyes to see then do you not notice the riots that are happening in Liverpool, Manchester, Merseyside, Salford, Romford etc are mostly white? (look at the videos of the riots from those places) Irrelevant of the reasoning the students riots were mostly made of whom? An issue of race wasn't made then even tho it was evidently a mixed crowd (mostly white) Point being the media and others are side lining the issues by attributing the riots to particular groups (i.e so called organised gangs etc) when the issue is deeper than that.

Anybody after some cheap tools????
he mentioned something about buying a workshop as a job lot from Colin mccrae's mechanic. Bought it for the milling machines and not the tools. I still wonder how much he paid for that.
-
What to do...
damn dude. just saw this tread now. that was a pretty mint zed last time i saw it. tis a shame.
-
Brighter headlights
lol i thought that was only me..... In the rain was just a joke aswell
-
Brighter headlights
Very true. iv fitted HID kits to all my cars and some of them just aint much brighter than stock. Some look very bright for the first few feet but just dont project the same beam far enough. i remember stepping in to another car with standard lights after using mine and thought "damn these almost project like xenons but are yellow" buts its i had gotten so used to the poor projection of mine and others. 55w ones are better but it needs to be a decent ballast otherwise what u get on startup is your lights looking like they are barely on and only warming up to an "acceptable" brightness. A 35w Philips ballast is gonna be much better than any Chinese so called 55w ballast.

Feeling slightly guilty, i've had to defect.
Same here. iv got a 330ci sport in black too. always had one BM or another along with the zed
-
she's nearly ready for the road again! what do u think?
nice car, nice wheels but what is up with those side skirts. not a fan at all. I think if they didnt bulge out so much and were blended in with the body it could look quite nice
-
Any BMW experts
that BM is over priced. i just sold my run-about e46 2000 shape 318ci coupe for 1800. and that was nice in black, staggared M3 wheels, tints etc the prices of e46 bimmers are really falling (besides certain variants) so id look for those, great cars to drive

Fu*king disgraceful.
erm no....not even remotely. i can understand the frustrations across the board but voting for a group like that aint going to alleviate or solve anything as there only angle for gaining votes is taking advantage of peoples frustrations when they have have no real other political solutions. what that mob have done is truly disgraceful. i cant believe they can actually get away with such protest during a time like that

Too good to break!!
yeah typo i know. clocking is the term used to reduce the mileage of a car. and the guy was assuming that mine was a UK model which would likely have history with it
-
Too good to break!!
i think there are some truths to that certainly i remember when i was selling my last zed a guy rang up. and said he only wants to buy the car to make money on. which i though fair enough, but then he was like "yeah im gonna throw away the service history in the bin so i can clock the mileage and sell it as an "import". and to think he was a trader who does it on a regular basis. that pissed me off that he was brazen enough to say that before even looking at it. im guessing that why so many zeds have around 67k on the clock....supposedly some people just dont really car as to what the zed is and see it as another old jap car etc
-
normal unleaded prepare to tell me off
but sainsburys get there fuel supplied from shell anyways cant say iv noticed much difference when using high octane fuel and normal in terms of running (maybe because mine is a UK car)
