TBH bud, its very easy, the work is in the preparation! If you want a really good job, just pay to have them done. I did mine (see my rides section) it took me a few days to do them, but they are really good (even if i do say so myself :D ) Also i did mine with a proper compressor and touch up gun, not rattle cans so i got a good finish. Basic process i used was, alot of rubbing down with various grades of wet & dry, down to the bare metal, then etching primer, then white primer within 20 mins. Then silver, then i masked off the dish and sprayed the tranluscent gold on the spokes and finally plenty of laquer. Just a word of warning, i'm not a fan of black wheels or any dark colour as i find they blend in with the tyres and ground too much and look rather unspectacular (IMO of course). If i were you i would put some serious thought into other colours before doing it. HTH :) EDIT - Mine went from the top pic to the one below (i know i'm great :rofl: )

Mine does abit, but TBH its inside the car cos trim has been taken out and put back in etc..... Not really from the outside, although it should'nt with the amount of suspension i've changed, lol. :D

To put it simply bud, pleasureland is no more............it went down the pan and then blackpool pleasure beach (who owned it) took the rides to blackpool! If you surf southport.gb.com there are a lot of old threads on it, you'll have to do some searching though, as it was a while ago now. It got taken over by a liverpool entrepreneur, who has tried to make it work as a little fair type thing, but quite honestly it does'nt work! :(

Ok Steve, i know it sounds like i'm going on and on, but i am trying to help you mate :wack: :) This will be my last post in your thread, as like i have said on many other occasions, i'm no expert, lol :wack: It seems to me that swapping dials and individual odo's round will not do what you hope it will. Like i said i could be wrong but logic tells me thats the case. HTH :)
