Heaters work fine, air con has been removed previously to save weight ....... probably for that i reckon ? Thanks for replies. Its not been connected for last 18 months or so and not had any probs until now so presume its not a problem.

I was thinking the blanked off hose should be attatched to the valve ?

Hi, i have been looking into why my TT zx has started to smoke from passenger sode exhaust slightly, blue/white. also revs stick at 1500 sometimes when warm, turn ignition off/on and sometimes cures it. I was looking round engine bay and any idea why this hose is removed and blanked and what its supposed to be connected to ? could it have anything to do with the problem ? I have owned the car about 18monts and has been pretty much trouble free. Thanks

Hi, A week or so ago my driver side indicator stopped working intermittantly,i thought it was just a bulb at first but the fact it was intermittant made me think the contacts were damp, not had chance to look at it yet, i am working nights at the mo, came out to the car this morning and driver side headlight was on, no light switches had been left on though, the high beam indicator on the dash is also lit as though the indicator stalk has been pushed into high beam mode, i started it up, 5 mins of fiddling about switching light off/on etc and it went out. I drove home, parked up and it came on again, i could not get it to go out this time, i have had to pull the multi plug from the back of the light unit to get it to go out, the high beam indicator is still lit. Its a uk manual TT L reg with the HID conversion. Unfortunatley, i am pretty clueless so any adive would be gretly apreciated. Thanks

I love camping in the summer with the kids but its hell in the rain! I was in Cornwall when the Boscastle floods happened, only lasted 4 days out of a week. Anyway rather you than me mate but enjoy it all the same !! :D

Yeah thought of scrapping it off and re-painting but didnt want it to look like a bodge, does the trim come off easy enough ?

Hi, Anyone have any tips on repairing,painting or replacing the trim which runs along side of windscreen and over the roof,the black paint has started coming off leaving shiny metal which is underneath, saw a few with this when looking at cars to buy so i guess its quite common. Cheers :duffer:
