First off let me assure you that your last statement is simply incorrect. I'm not aware of the situation with your turbos but I'm afraid there may have been some miscommunication. We have no problem covering the shipping cost to get the center cartridge back for inspection. We have very few problems with our journal bearing turbos and absolutely no issues with our Garrett GTBB turbos like the GT675RS kits. Someone will be contacting you tomorrow to help resolve the problem. We have high regards for our UK customers and strongly value your buisness. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If anyone has any problems with Z1 product or service please PM me here and I'll see that it gets taken care of.

Welcome John and Russel from Z1
I didn't realize we were being blocked anywhere! I'll have to look into that.

Nah, that's a different Chip. Chip Ginn is no longer a part of the Z32 scene here.

Welcome John and Russel from Z1
Old Chip Ginn huh? His place was not to far from us, just over in Alabama. GMS went under a couple years ago now. We talk to Kyle almost everyday, he's good people.

Welcome John and Russel from Z1
It's a fiberglass Veilside front fascia. Of course it would be nice if it was urethane, but no such luck. I may be changing it soon to something along the lines of the Escort fascia which is similar to the 99 JDM version.

Welcome John and Russel from Z1
Not on Z32's, although we do have experience with them on 350zs and G35s. We are turbo lovers at heart though, not a big fan of centrifugals.

lovely convertable 1000bhp
LOL! Tough crowd. We didn't come here to brag or to make outlandish claims that we can't back up. We didn't even mention anything about the car, you guys did. This all we do all day 6 days a week for the past 7 years. We have our own dyno jet dyno in house and it is accurate with-in a 2% margin. For instance most normally aspirated Z32's make 180-200 rwhp on our dyno depending on modifications. The silver widebody convertible was originally built with a TD06 20G kit and 740cc injectors. That is what a lot of the mod sheets floating around still say. About a year after it was built we added a direct port nitrous system on top of the plenum and 850cc injectors. This set-up is what made around 700 rwhp on boost alone and the 1051 rwhp with nitrous a couple years back. Because we were looking for more power and better response we did another round of mods this year. We changed over to our GT725R turbos hid the direct port nitrous under the lower plenum, and many other "upgrades". With this new set-up the car made around 880 rwhp on boost and much more with the nitrous. There are two stages of nitrous. The first stage is a 60 shot into the throttle bodies activated by a WOT switch. The second stage is a 225 shot (direct port) activated by a hobbs pressure switch, that I currently have set to 15 psi. The silver convertible has many many powerplant modifications. I'd be happy to post an updated list when I have time. The 2871s used in the Z1 GT725 R kit are the larger trim _2 version. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/catelog/Turbochargers/GT28/GT2871R_743347_2.htm The tune is of course using high octane 116 octane race fuel considering the amount of boost we are running. As far as the fuel pumps go, well we know from a lot of experience that one stock TT fuel pump in good condition can supply enough fuel for over 700 rwhp. We've done it numerous times, with A/F ratios still safe. At around the 750 rwhp range we start seeing pressure fall off. It's a phonomenal pump, more capable than almost anything else produced from the factory. So with two pumps we've not had fuel supply problems at power levels well in excess of 1000 at the rear wheels.

Welcome John and Russel from Z1
Thanks for the welcome! We would love to stop by from time to time and see what kind of stuff you guys are doing. We have quite a few really good customers from the UK and we'd love to have more. Yes the silver Vert is one of our many Z32 projects. And here is a link to some of the improvements we've just made to the powerplant. IMAGE GALLERY on 300zx.com We are also the largest Z32 shop and parts dealer in the states. We have several hundred wrecked Z32's for used parts, a large inventory of Nissan OEM parts, as well as a massive inventory of performance parts including the Z1 Motorsports product line. We offer a comphensive line of parts, turbos, SMICs, driveshafts, and more including lots of other new products currently in development. Of course our website is easy to remember ( http://www.300zx.com ). We also put on the Z Nationals event here every spring. http://www.Znationals.com We will have a DVD available soon covering this year's event. Here is a short preview of 07 Z Nationals coverage. Hopefully some of you guys will join us someday. 07 Z Nationals Preview

The car has been running PE 850cc injectors for a couple years now. We've made 880 rwhp on boost alone with the new set-up. That is with twin stock fuel pumps at a few pounds of extra fuel pressure. 880rwhp at 36psi on our GT725R kit is near the limit of what the 850cc injectors are capable of. The car also has a direct port nitrous kit (wet shot) that is now hidden under the lower plenum. And also another smaller stage of nitrous that sprays into the two intake pipes before the throttle bodies. All of the nitrous includes fuel jets, so we are able to make over 1000 rwhp with 850cc injectors. In our recent attempts to spray the large direct port nitrous sytem on top of maxium boost we have been unable to acheive any traction on our dyno. Our calculations tell us the car is producing around 1250 rwhp now when using all the nitrous.
