Hiya people, Just been trying to fit a timing belt, but have the following problem I can lign up the marks on the sprockets and the belt no problem, bu when i line up the mark on the crank the marks on the cams dont line up with the dots on the back plate! yet the marks on the timing belt still line up with the cam marks! Can you tell mew it this is right, or have i messed up? The engine turns uver like that with no piston/valve contact!

Sounds like your PTU m8, maybe someone on here lives near you and can lend you a working one to try? Just dont get a new one over here, £318 plus its the old seres 1 model!

Thanks ppl i would like a electronic controler not a bleed valve one! also thinking of fiting a SS Zorst too. Just a quick quesion, but if you change the boost do you need to remap the ecu everytime to allow for the change in boost to keep the mixture and timing correct?

Thinking of getting a Boost Controler and Dump Valves, whats the best ones to get people? Will i Need a fitting kit etc? Thanks poeple

PaulC if you want to get another alarm fitted and want the old one removed, i'll give ya a hand to remove it, its easy if you know how. Removed alarms loads of times.

Hi guys, i've found a supplyer that will do a discount on EPROM Programer kit's that you build yourself, the kits will program the chip in the zed's ecu no probs. If your interested thrn just leave a post here if we get enough people we may gat a very very good deal the kits at the moment are about 70 euros, with out the discount. I'll even build the kit for you for an extra £15, that covers the time ans solder etc, i'll even possibly fit it all in a case for £25. Thanks People Mathew

I have to agree with you all here, i got my zed in perfect order, i mean everything was there and worked, it was hardy used the owner was scaired to drive her, and her husband would only drive it once a week to golf. Now all was sweet then a few months later the battery died, then the exhurst had a hole.... that just gose to show you that you never know whats round the next bend. (Wish i'd known that flood was round that bend).

anyone know where i can get a set of intake plenum hoses, i.e. the ones for the water etc. had to cut some when striping the engine now i cant find the part numbers! anyonegot the numbers or even better a set of hoses they want to sell???? Thanks People Mathew 'mtl' levett

sorry mate, i think they are just Turbo ones, but i'm sure the doc's i have tell you what to change in the images for a NA, if thats any help.
