  1. Is it safe to do a RR? just rebuilt my engine and realy dont want to blow it up again!
  2. Well as i said before if anyones up for a drink, then call/text me, i'll be up for meeting a few fellow zeders!!
  3. Useing both the one built into the controler and a teperary boost gauge!
  4. Right all my bags are packed and ready to go! leaveing at 3am:( still cant wait to go tho, so i repeat my offer, if anyone is up for a drink, mini meet or whatever, give us a call, i'm up there all week!
  5. I've done that! and all connections etc, boost gauge says 1.01 but it still feels the same, maybe a little twitchyer on the back, but still feels the same! if i cant sort it by the RR day, anyone up for helping me set it up properly? all buy you a beer!! :rofl:
  6. when running at 1.00 bar it still feels the same as the stock boost? Is it just me expection a big differance, or is it just a very suttle differance? :confused: ;) :confused: :confused: :confused:
  7. Sorry to ask, but is 1.00 bar of boost ok for a stock engine with a hks intake and SE chip? And i'm not gonna brake anything with it that high am i?
  8. Thanks m8, i've got it to read 1.00 bar now, needed a duty cycle of about 65- 68% and its now gone into learning mode!
  9. Right now been for a bit of spireted driveing, had the controler set to 1.00 bar and a duty cycle of 65% and got a peak reading of 0.88 dose this sound right?? i'm new to this so am haveing a few probs setting it up right! oh, and it does not go into self learning mode!!
  10. right, got boost set to 0.80 mmHg and Duty set to 45% and am getting a boost reading of 0.65mmHg is this right??
  11. sorry that was not very clear was it? Right, i've fitted the unit apart from the pipe work to/from the boost control valve, how do i fit that? i.e. what pipe goes where etc? now i've set up the car setings etc, so the unit reads out speed, rpms, boost etc, and want to set up a higher then stock boost, how do i do that? what do i put for the boost setting and duty settings? also if i do i sensor test the voltage from the boost sender and TPS are not stable, thay move about slightly with the engine not running, is this normal? and the rpm readout whne it is running is unstable too it jumps up and down, even tho the dash rev counter thays at the same position is this right too or have i got a loose connection somewhere? oh, and i have a SE chip, so i can run a higher boost, but still have stock turbos and injectors, and its also a 1992 jap import auto 2+2.   13. Its not that bad to work on the zed! i've just rebuilt my engine with info from people on here when i got stuck, and i did'nt know much about the zed engine when i started, but know loads now!
  14. Anyone know what i should set it to? I have a SE chip i think, and cant make much sense of the manual!

  23. That file did not work on my computer, would not import the data!
  24. as far as i can see its the same, apart from the rev limit and speed limiter! Someone must know teh difference!!
