hi im a newbie from Neath in South Wales , ive got a Swb auto and the box is knackerd , im thinking about doing a conversion to manual , what is needed ? im a mechanical engineer and have done engine rebuilds on vtec engines etc is this too much off a job to take on ? Cheers for any input Stu

Oww dear ! ...... new gear box then, i thought it may have been a selector problem or somthing the lever doesnt engage as well as it used to ,when i select D it can be moved through the other selctions without pressing the button on the lever , may this have anything to do with it ?

Hi this is my first post just bought a 300 zx 1990 auto , yesterday the car made a dinging noise ? now the car won't change any higher than 2nd ? is it time for a new gearbox ?
