  8. For a week now I've had a metallictapping sound on the top half of the engine.... I was 99% sure it was the hyd tappets after doing a search on here (quite a lot of threads on tapping noises) I flushed the engine(Forte) changed the oil ..... still a tapping sound at around 2,000 rpm - 3,000 rpm not on tick over... or when giving her full throttle, Put in some Wynes oil treatment tappet stuff. Now this morning I filled her up and went for a bit of a drive......:hyper: and the tapping has seemed to have stopped....... Could it have been the last load of petrol was "shite" and it was a "Pinking" noise:headvswal

Sorry .... we have had the softly softly approach for nearly 30 years now....in schools, with the police!!! its not working, I think its about time we tried something different..... maybe being able to control kids at there school..... or in there own homes...... I know times have changed, but things have come a long way since my dad was at school and you didn't dare look the headmaster in the face when walking along the corridors.
  20. I was a 911 fan for most of my adult life!!!!! Having thought about buying one before I got the Z, I was very dissapointed with the interior.....suppose I'll make my mind up on the day , I've seen a few db9's on the road and a load of porshes...... but the Lambo seems to be more of a rare "super car".(and I like Rare!!)
  21. Thanks Chaps....... Got a desicion to make now though!!!!!!! My misses has got me race day, Now I can choose to drive a Porshe 911 Turbo(996),Ferrari 360, Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin DB9, AMV8, Bentley Continental GT???????? My wife and 2 boys thought I would automatically go for the DB9 as I love them......... But I'm being drawn to the Lambo:nana2: Any advice will be much appreciated:D
  22. Snowy, I went with my misses as well and she really enjoyed it !!!
