  1. So how do u know if you've got ABS fitted without doing the obvious and skidding ?
  2. ok will check this, was just wondering as the idle solenoid valve is conected to the boost pipes from the turbo on the passenger side. Could it not bleed off pressure if it was stuck open ? Lloyd
  3. It's a stable peak of 10.5 PSI tried adjusting the Boost Controller Settings as per recommended. Lloyd
  4. Hi, I've got 360 bearing turbo's, 1 bar chip, G-Ready Profec B Spec 2 Boost controller she won't go over 10.5 PSI. The stock boost solenoids are removed electrically and the tube is also removed from them. Lloyd
  5. Hello, Firstly I'd like to thank you technical guys for helping me with my tick over problem, where my 92 turbo was idling at around 1700-2000rpm when she had warmed up. I spent ages checking connector contacts and the PTU thingy to no avail and as I was totally losing hope I read about an old thread about the Idle Solenoid Valve sticking (the thought of removing this was not a happy one). Someone (can't remember who) suggested removing one of the rubber tubes going to the solenoid valve and spraying some WD-40 in to lubricate it. I tried this and it's sorted !!! Thank-you guys. On the same topic, is there anyway that this sticking solenoid valve could affect boost pressure ??? I know someone who has this problem on his 300ZX TT. Lloyd
  6. I think u need to bleed the air out the rad using the plastic grub screw. I had a similar although less serious thing on mine. I've still not got to the bottom of the oil leak, but its not too bad
  7. sorry which hoses are these ?
  8. ok, then piping been checked no boost leak Greddy Profec B Spec II fitted working correctly newly rebuild engine only running 0.5bar
  9. :nono: mate it ain't in safety boost, its been Conzult'ed. I believe it to be the same problem he had. If anyone knows him please direct him to this thread. Much appreciated
  10. Hello, I am trying to get in touch with jay 300zx after seeing an old thread from him regarding his z running just 0.5bar boost and I have the same problem. It would be great if I could get in touch or if someone who knows him could put me in touch ? Any help would be much appreciated. Lloyd
  11. Answer the first question first :)
  12. Is Jay 300zx still about ? I've got exactly the same problem and was wondering whether you got to the bottom of your problem. Lloyd
  13. Andy, About the Lambda or O2 sensor u found that wasn't working..... I got Z-Tech to replace the Lambda sensor today, they did it quick so it didn't cost too much and I didn't have the special tool to remove the old / broken one but they did. The old one was seized into the manifold but one of the Z-Tech guys managed to get it out luckily. So with two functioning Lambda's I can start to think about the other things that need sorting.
