  1. a couple observations about det sensors id like to share... The 34 code you get is not actually a failed sensor. It is a corroded harness connection at the sensor. ive removed several and every one of them had a heavy crusty coat of corrosion at the connector. The solution ive come up with is to cut off the connector and after cleaning up the contact on the sensor, solder the harness to the sensor and seal the works with heat shrink tubing. There are two contacts on the sensor but only one is used. If you match up the connector to the sensor you will find it is the left one. The det sensor can be removed from the engine block if the transmission is removed. i use a long ratcheting 12mm wrench and access the bolt to the right side of the EGR valve. Once the bolt becomes too loose to allow the wrench to ratchet properly, I use a long thin screwdriver to place downward pressure against the head of the bold to create friction at the threads. this allows the wrench to work again.
  2. looks like that is a Mazda color. Second from the left on the top row. http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=2006-mazda-pg01.jpg
  3. I got the upper bolt size wrong, its is 14mm but this pic might help
  4. Arent those wheels from the "Track" package? The wheels on my car (pic with airplane) are off a 2005 "Touring" package. Keep in mind im referring to what we call them in the US... Needless to say, I'm pretty pleased with the overall result, and its bound to make my red Z even faster (if that's possible of course)... ================================================== Like a retired James Bond, the Z exudes an air of understated class. ==================================================
  5. These are Nissan 350Z wheels off a 2005 Touring package, 18" on a stock suspension. They are only 8" wide however so im not sure how such a wide tire will fit on them.
  6. Hello guys, Ive been reading thru your forums and came across this post and found the topic interesting. Ill remove my pressure unit on my next oil change and have a go at your repair method, thanks! I found that post by the way... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=85521
