Zed World apology
This is right, I have concerns about over boosting and thought boost controller would make this more safer? From the posts I have read without boost can vary between 12-16psi.

Zed World apology
"I am not sure what is involved by the methods zed world use but guess from the comments from everyone not so much and it is more of a bodge job?" I have spoke with Zed world today who noted my post and I would like to express my apologies. I have this week had my car fixed by zed world of Tamworth and I have to say they were very efficient and helpful. My car is now working as should be after Nissan had it for 2 months and made it worse! Please excuse my choice of words, Jeff at Zed world was very helpful in detailing the proceadures they use, but I always like to ask independent advise, Just to double check and make sure I make the correct decision, as the wrong one could be very expensive!!! The use of word "Bodge" was slang for a cheaper method, not taken in the wrong way but from comments I have read the boost controller is the safest way to go. I am sure the conversion that Zed world do is good and works well, I do not doubt this but I just wanted to check, rather spend little more now then lot more later if wrong. Anyway I hold my hands up, wrong use of words, Zed world couldnt have been better and I would recommend them for any work. And thank you all for your input. Regards Mat

chipping standard car
Dear Andy, Hope you dont mind me writing to you but have been advised by many. I'm a little confused, on my totally stock car what can I do for around the £300 mark to increase performance safely? I am not sure what is involved by the methods zed world use but guess from the comments from everyone not so much and it is more of a bodge job? Thanks in advance Mat

chipping standard car
Hi I have searched the forums but cannot find any information. I have been speaking with zed world and they suggested that i chip my car and increase the boost to 13.5psi for £300 - 70bhp. The problem i have - I have a mint standard car done 60k and do not want problems - would like the extra power but concerned about the above - has anyone else had it done, any experiences? is it worth it? I do not drive the car hard much at all as enjoy just driving it, so it runs full boost infrequently. Grateful of any advice/experience Cheers Mat

vibrating problem
Dear All, 2 Months on and chorley NIssan have still not found the problem as described above, this vibration, they have changed the Gear box mount and the propshaft centre bearing. It i s beautiful example but I am getting a bit sick of waiting paying insurance tax etc!! Any further ideas? Unbalanced drive shaft? They have even offered to give my money back but not sure as dont know if I will find one as good. Am considering saying to them to cover me an amount say £500 and I will take to a specialist garage and have the work done myself, but it is difficult putting an amount on something of which you do not know the solution. The basic is a vibration between 40-60mph which seems to become better after a few miles. Very servere when cold, less when warmed up. Any help would be very much appreciated Thanks in advance Mat

knock sensor - resistor
hi, can anyone provide a link for instructions for fitting the resistor in the knock sensor circuit and advise how easy this is. this is appose to fitting a brand new knock sensor. The nissan garage have said they have spent enough on the car and even though it is under warranty said they cannot do anymore, this is totally wrong but what can you do!!!!
