  1. sounding more and more they could fit????
  2. Helloo! I used to own a few 300zx one non and one twin turbo. I've since sold and bought a Subaru Legacy GTB twin turbo. It's quite a quick car when you floor it but one thing that is lacking is the brakes. The fronts are just two pots and just don't give me any confidence compared to my old brembos on my Nissan TT from a R33 GTR....i don't expect them to be that good of course but know i can improve them. I'm looking to upgrade to Subaru 4 pots but noticed on flea bay someone selling a Nissan set from a 300zx and he thought they would also fit the Subaru. My question is has anyone bought or does anyone know if these will fit? Has anyone bought a set of Brembos from a Subaru and fitted them to a 300zx? If i can i'll get a set of original 300zx brakes from someone here because i know they will be cheaper than the Subaru 4 pots and i'd love to do it before anyone else!!!! Cheers guys Alex
  3. Not my driveway but my parents they live in a nice "little" house in Cornwall. Cheers James hope you sell yours too....then again it is an auto so who knows ;o) only kidding yours i'm sure will go soon too. Feels weired not having the Zed soon as i've had this one for a few years and one before for a few. Been on this site for a few years now but have to say it really has been invaluable,i never thought there was so much interest and help in such a cool car...... Hang on why am i selling it!!!!!!!!! I've changed my mind....only kidding . We're actually adopting a kid next month after two years of IVF and one year of Adoption training....even though me and the wife will be really sad to see the car go i have to buy something sensible...... Therefore i'm looking for a nice Subaru Legacy GT-B ,still twin turbo and Bilsteins and very much a wolf in sheeps clothing..... Probably not as quick as mine but still a bit of 4WD fun on the corners on a wet day! I'm sure in a few years i'll buy another Zed ;o( Javier i have to say i think it really is going to a good home and will definately take you up on a vist to Spain just to have a spin in my old car....and drink some San Miguel's!!!! Very good luck and look after her!
  4. Also to the "suspicious" one on here i removed the fogs as i preferred the UK spec plate without them! Any other questions.......... And you wonder why i'm not subcribed anymore!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Thanks guys for your kind words and too those who wouldn't "touch me with a barge pole" on e-bay i tried to sell a car stereo x3 times and some looney kept trying to buy it and insisted on turning up at my house but i kept refusing and asked to meet him on neutral ground. As i refused i think he even tried to get a friend to buy it from me who also wanted to turn up at my house therefore i refused the sale and of course got -3 points. If anyone has any other questions feel free to direct them to me.......... Cheers Alex
  6. Thought about that one also.... I spoke to a garage today who said it may be worth taking off the disc checking everythings clean then turn it to the next nut, put it on then tighten everything up again.... Going off the idea of buying new pads.....not really sure this will solve the problem.....
  7. I wonder if mine are then? Just fitted brand new disks and pads, also had part of the steering rack which was loose tightened. All was perfect for about 200 miles but it's just started juddering again!!!!!!!! How do you sort the dragging brakes???? Cheers
  8. No that was my first thought and i had them balanced today.......just had to add 5g on the wheel i sanded. It seems a bit odd how it would suddenly start to judder again though......
  9. Have the spigot and hand torque tightened them...
  10. Story so far........... Took the car to Jeff at Zedworld who did a great job on putting in a new prop shaft which took away that annyoing rumble under the seat. He also found a loose steering joint which he cured and suggested the discs which had been skimmed hadn't been on the inside rim. The vibration through the steering wheel improved but was still there. As suggested i changed the discs and pads and hey preston no vibration whatsoever......i was also running in the discs very slowly. Last weekend i took off one wheel to sand down some minor kerb damage and took out the car again to find some steering wheel judder had returned???????????????? This is no where near as bad as it was but is still there now...... Any bright ideas as i'm now really loosing my patience!!!!! Cheers Alex 07944045178
  11. Don't you then loose a brake light???
  12. I've heard about that but are they really that bright?????
  13. I know that's why i fancy one! I actually used to use a high level brake light for the fog and it even passed the MOT! That was £25.......this looks much more interesting! Think i'll buy one anyway and fit it next week.........pics to follow......
  14. Anyone ever fitted these??? I know they are around £50 from Demon Tweeks but quite fancy using it as a fog light especially at that price!!! http://bajabeetle.abergeletools.co.uk/Volkswagen/index.php?page=shop.product_details&category_id=2&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=5&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26
