Thx for all your advice guys its much appreciated. I have been a member of another jap car club but from what ive seen so far this club seem superior. I guess i just didnt have the right jap import before and like boldy said my smile is bigger than it has been when im driving my ZX, even with its faults.

Thx for the info so far guys. My speedo is a NISMO face, so will i have to buy another? As for a new pessure gauge and gearbox sending, any advice where i can get them from? Have a good new years eve guys and dont drink to much ;)

Hi everyone, i just bought a 300zx TT on friday the 22 dec (i wanted 1 for ages) and joined the club sortly afterwards, its has a few faults that i need to get sorted and i could really use some advice. 1st of all, and most worrying is that i have really low oil pressure, starts off at about 4 then drops down to 0 when the engine is warm. I was adivised to change the oil and filter 1st to see if that helped but just done that and no joy. So i guess its 1 of 3 things, the sender, the gauge or the pump. The engine has only done 53k miles (if i believe the reading) and the engine sound great. What would you reccomend i try next? Next is the speedo. 1st of all it seems to have a mind of its own, it works some times then throws a wobbly (goes up and down) and stops working, then ok again. It this a sender problem, and is it easy to fix? Last of all is the speedo face, mine is in KMH only and reads up to 300 KMH. The MPH speedo faces i have seen for sale only go up to 190 KMH (120 MPH). So im not sure what i need to do to get my speedo reading in MPH. Do i need to get the conversion device fitted? Thx for your time in reading this, i just want to get my 300zx up to scratch and i hope to meet up with some of you guys in the new year. P.S Nearly forgot. I want to give my 300zx a full sevice including timming belt. I got a stupid price for over £1100 from nissan and was wondering if any1 knows a place near me that services 300zx. I live is south Cumbria. Thx again.
