Powerflow exhaust
I'll second that. Had mine fitted at S****horpe by the owner Deepak. Very pleased with the finish and the sound is superb. Been on since Oct 04 with no signs of corrosion. As with James though i'd heard good reports about his work.

Help - whats this pipe?
No. As jeff said its the washer bottle pipe. It does have two outlets though, one for the windscreen and one for the rear washer. Well at least on a j spec it does. Had to replace mine some time ago as the motor leaked.

Bluetooth and the zed
Hi Guys Have any of you used a bluetooth headset in your zed? I have a t610 and use the HBH 65 headset and whenever the car is moving i sound like a Darlek or Norman Collier!! Tried it today in a hire car (Focus) and it was fine. Any ideas on something else i can try as its rather defeats the object if i cannot use it on the move. Sean

low beam modification
used the spade connector method and it works fine. it is fiddly to get behind the screw on the passenger side so in the end just wedged it with the bulb and when clamped inplace with the bulb holder nothing moves. Been done 2 months and no problems.....................yet. Sean

Misty windows and horrible smell.
Not sure what the Zed thinks its playing at now but the climate control seems to have gone weird. All windows now mist up and this is followed by a damp / chemical smell from the vents. have done a search but nothing seems to match the problem. the footwells are dry and the heater and fans all still work it just seems as though the air coming onto the screen is damp. Any ideas guy's as its bad enough when its foggy outside let alone inside. Sean

Power steering help
Hi all I've searched but cannot find anything that matches what my Zed has just gone and done. It has just dumped all of its power steering fluid when i parked up after a short drive,so i dropped it round to my local garage to see if it was a high pressure hose or a clip that had come off. Having checked it they are at a loss as when the engine is running there are no leaks or loss of fluid or power assistance, however, as soon as the engine is switched off the fluid spews out the top of the reservoir and from the seal around the pulley shaft. Have you ever heard of this before or any idea so i can point my guy in the right direction, its almost as if a pressure relief valve is stuck somewhere. Here's hoping someone can help quickly as it's far too cold to be going to work on the motorbike:( Sean

Rear trackrod part no.
Hi All. MOT time and she's failed. Only failed on off side rear trackrod end. Can anyone give me a part number please, not sure until i check with the garage whether its the lower balljoint or the rear steering joint so both numbers would help. Its a 89 j spec so will the UK part fit or do i need to order a J spec part and if so who from?

To anyone with stock wheels
The wheel police have just been and checked and mine are the wrong way round  Got 30 mins to swap them over or i've got to attend the Jimmey Cricket course on Left v Right.:D Thanks guys. Plus just found the front pads need a change so was all for the best.

Oh NO! Bag of spanners!
Plus it could of course be the PTU. Happened to me 2 months ago.Wait till the engines cold and start it up. If alls ok until warm then the PTU has gone south.

ICE install
Just look for an ISO connector at halfords. From memory it covers loads of Nissan models just look on the packaging. I got mine from MotorWorld and its a Jspec 1989. Planned half a day to fit and took all of 10 mins :D This should solve your problem http://www.autoleads.co.uk/product/fitting_kits_listing.asp?modid=321&man_id=24

Buying from Courtesy Nissan
I ordered a PTU on Sunday 9th and it arrived yesterday :D Even adding Mr Browns cut it was still atleast 50% less than good ole Nissan GB. I was amazed really that it travelled so far so fast, doubt it would be the same story over here :( Beggars the question though why are Nissan GB so expensive as the parts all come from Japan. I for one will order again but hopefully not too soon. Sean

Adjustable suspension settings?
The suspension is only adjustable on the rear shockers and only on UK or US models. I believe you pull the handbrake up 1 notch to firm the shocker but since mines a Jap spec it isn't an option for me.Try a search using adjustable suspension.Hope you find a good one soon as having owned mine for two months i still smile every time i drive it. :D

Buyers guide ( where is it?)
Hi All First post so please bear with me :) When the 300zx website was up and running there was a buyers guide which had pictures of, amongst other things, what the boost gauge and oil pressure guages should be reading if all was ok. Can anyone point me in the right direction or is it gone for good. I've read Japanese performance buyers guide etc and will be going to test drive a 90 import on Friday. Hopefully by Saturday i'll be one of the gang as it's far to cold for motorbikes at the mo. :D
