  1. Thanks Coopers, Andy P & Markzx for the advice. I gave Mick at MJP a call, what a nice bloke, very informative ! I’ve ordered some new Nissan Bushes..... 3 weeks from Japan !!! I thought I’d start with them, and then move onto the brakes. I’m going to see if I can get a salvaged rod to see me thorough till then. It’s MOT time soon as well !! I’ll get some photos of my car on here soon, and then get along to one of the meet ups. I should have got on here ages ago. I’ve so much I need to find out about my Zed - the most technological car I’ve owned before this was an Escort !!! Cheers. Ben.
  2. Thanks for that. I should have said, that’s the only other thing I have checked. They both seem fine, not warped, and the pads have plenty of life in them. The juddering doesn't start immediately, but after about quarter mile, and the car doesn't pull to either side.
  3. This is my first post on here, so I’d just like to say “hello” I’ve been a member for a couple of years and always followed the threads closely. I took the plunge last year and brought my first Zed - a 94 UK TT. Absolutely love it, the most awesome car I have ever owned !! Anyway, it’s developed a severe juddering / knocking through the steering wheel under braking. The offside tension rod bush is leaking, so I’m guessing this will be a good place to start to find a cure ? What are my best options to fix it – can I replace just the bushes, or do I need to replace both the rods? I’ve heard a few bad reports about Poly Bushes not giving enough movement and causing suspension failure. I’m not a mad crazy driver, I’m not into chucking my car into corners, so don’t need a racecar suspension set up. Should I just go for original equipment replacements ? Finally, are they an easy DIY fit ? Cheers. Ben.
