  4. Hi, I a returning here after a lengthy break, some of you may know me Lisa from Plymouth & my z so just wanted a bit of advice really. I am having to sell my z which I have owned since 2007 & previously owned by my ex for a year or 2 before I bought it from him. It has been driven by myself (female) for most of the time I have had it so not abused. it is chipped & have 386 bhp & 400lb torque. (I have dyno sheet somewhere to prove it. ) I have it currently sorn as I don't need to use it & has been for a year or 2 but started regular. up until then was used daily for short journeys as an everyday car. it has been super reliable & passed mot every year with only maybe few odd jobs failing if it did, like tyres, etc. Ball joints all be replaced, I had new rear brake discs & pads fitted & got it mot ready but just didn't get round to it as I wasn't going be driving it, so in the end decided to sorn it. The paintwork it shabby & it needs a respray after being kept outside all its life with me, but I can assure you it is mechanically sound, very reliable. It is also very quick.. It is a manual tt targa top in gunmetal grey with slight rainbow flake, 1990, with alloys that could do with refurb. it has leather interior but could do with new passenger seat due to a paint can exploding in the summer! Does have some alcatara in, but really the new owner would prob want to update it all. It has a irish plate that is well suited to the z. Anyway, my question is, it is mot ready & just wondered how much would the price vary to get it moted to sell it without? What price tag would you guys recommend? I have looked at some prices but just don't know what to price it at, so all advice welcome. Thanks in Advance.
  5. Ok, will get my mechanic to sort it, thanks
  6. Ye I know, I have a good mechanic mate that is going to fit it cheap, so all else fails i'll have to buy another, but for now its a cheap fix hopefully x
  7. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Z32-3-0-Twin-Turbo-Clutch-Master-Cylinder-Premium-Quality-Fast-Del/201721010584?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 hope that does the job, not leaking much, never checked fluid and still drives just have to pump pedal a bit cos I guess air in it
  8. the clutch line pipe but had that fixed. I just bought one from ebay exact same as z centre for £28, if not right can return it, but thanks for advice and i'll update when it arrives :)
  9. Think I had one fitted when it split before
  10. Yes its 1990, so would I need the line kit?
  11. £293 plus vat...its apparently leaking externally, had no fluid in it, put some in and pump clutch few times and it works but it needs changing I guess. plus £120 labour charge...i'm poor, lol
  12. Hi, was wondering if anyone has a clutch master cylinder for my 300zx fairlady 1990. I was quoted stupid amount and cant afford that, so wondered if anyone has bought one from ebay before ? they are varying from £28-£100 on there. Any advice please? thanks lisa
  13. Hi, so I have now found out that it is a little grommet thing on the brake pedal. Does anyone have one lying about or can I get one from Nissan cheap enough? Thanks
  14. Not really sure tbh, just top lights which are in the red part of the lights at rear, I will check again once I put battery back in and get someone to check brake lights and jam pedal up and down a bit see if makes any difference, I will also check all the lights on the dash too which I have already but all seem to be off. I'll also check the switch above brake pedal, see if they go off when I disconnect it. Thanks guys will keep you informed:)
  15. its an import but the fog light is wired separately. Not that I noticed, did have quick look at front and didn't see nothing, plus it makes a noise if front lights on, cant check at mo as I have taken the battery out again and put it back on charge
  16. (Wouldn't) start its meant to say...
  17. Hi as above my Rear lights staying on...My battery has been going flat so I took it out and charged it in my flat for a day or so, now put it back in and all was fine. Just walked past my car a few hours later and noticed rear lights on, so got in car to check to turn then off and everything seems to be off but the lights still on...I have now taken the bulbs out as again the battery is drained and just would start....any ideas please? Thanks Lisa
  18. passenger side repeater indicator needed, prefer white but original orange will do, mine flew off somehow and need for mot. Thanks lisa
  19. so if we were just pressing the clutch pedal and pumping it and opening the bleed nozzle whilst pumping and not holding pedal down your saying this could be why its not bring fluid thru at all ye? and has to be followed exactly how you said? Also was you pedal just pumping with no resistance?
  20. After spending £35 on the pipe I don't really want to buy another, surely there is a way of bleeding the bloody thing....gggrrrr
  21. Yep tried it for ages, no fluid coming out at all from top one
  22. As above, bottom one is dripping but top wont bleed, tried to pressurise it by blowing down where fliud goes but pushing pedal doing nothing...any advice please? Thanks
