Another Aussie in London!
Just arrived in london yesterday, bloody long way from home! over 24hrs of travel time - crazy! Im staying here until 4th of July (in Harlesden), going on a contiki tour from 2nd - 20th June, then back to see some sights. I will most likely head down to Bournemouth for a few days before I leave to see some family. Would love to meet some of the Z comunity over here! Very disappointed that i will miss silverstone! Is there any cruises or similar on between 20th June and 4 July close to where i am? Have not seen one Z yet! Cheers James

Another set of keys locked in car
Here is an interesting fact- kind of relavant to this thread. Some may know some may not-but, If you ever lock your keys in the car and have central locking (example- doors locked with the boot open and you shut your keys and remote in the boot) and you are miles away from home where your spare set is- you can simply phone someone at home on your cell phone and get them to unlock the car with the remote though the phone, hey presto the car will unlock! Tryed and tested works everytime! My bit of useless, but helpful info!

New Cricket Rules (Official)
New Cricket Rules (Official) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Cricket rules (Official) In order to make Cricket more competitive in the coming months, the International Cricket Council has proposed a set of new rules to "level the playing field". The proposals are as follows. Australia will be bound by a new "tip and run" rule. Australia will now be subject to a "6 and out" clause for any ball that clears the fence. While batting Australia will have the traditional wickets removed and replaced with a full size Sulo Wheelie bin. Australian Openers will be banned from playing any strokes in the first 5 overs. A run for an Australian Batsman will now be two lengths of the pitch rather than the traditional one. Any English Batsman will now be subject to a "Can't get out first ball" clause. England will now be permitted to run through their entire batting side twice through in a standard innings. England will be permitted a new "one hand one bounce" fielding rule England will be allowed a "last man stand" Brett Lee will be allowed to bowl, but only left handed. When asked how he felt about the new laws, Ricky Ponting was quoted as saying, "Fair enough." The next test match will incorporate the new rules and regulations in their entirety and based on these changes TAB CORP have issued their latest odds on the outcome. Australia paying $1.02 to Win with England running at 200-1

Pimped
HAHAHA! That belongs to a mate of mine. (Jspec imports here in Melbourne Australia just bought it). Why? - i have no idea! lol! I cant wait to see it in person. BTW- i think it is a waste of a zed but a top effort all the same.

HICAS and N/A's
NA do not come with HICAS, i have a TT with no HICAS and it feels so much better. If you are concidering adding a HICAS system to a NA, i wouldn't bother. Just not worth it.

Source for Chrome Plenums?
Polished is the way to go, i have just been down this track. If you take it to a good metal polisher they will be able to get it near mirror finish. Chrome looks fantastic but 'MAY' flake off, i have been told this by every plating compay I went to. Just make you give it a wipe over every now and again and if you want to be really fussy, go over it with a silver polish (for silverware), that will keep it looking its best.

Aussie Z owner!
I'll post some up later on, looks like a zed with no hood, no front fenders, no front bar, no interior, and no hatch, and no plenum! lol! oh and not much paint... getting it ready for the retrim and respray.

Aussie Z owner!
Hey guy and girls, Thought I'd jump on and say Hi. I'm from Melbourne Australia and comming over to London for a few months (maybe longer) in May next year. Caint wait! No sure exactly where i will be staying. Would be great to get to know some local Z owners while im over. I'll keep my eye out for events while im over too. I own a Black 1990 300ZXTT 2 seater, in the process at the moment of bringing over a wide body kit from th Z Centre as there is nothing even colse to that over here. My Zed was origianaly a NA but have since done a TT conversion, added a- nice big front mount, Microtec L12 Stand alone computer (not running a MAF), Twin pod intake, Bosch 044 Fuel pump, HKS electric boost controller, Hi-Flowed stock turbos, Running NA Dif No HICAS HKS SSQV blowoff valves, Coilover suspension, Sway bars etc few other little bits and pieces It is currently in the shed in pieces, awaiting the new kit and a new coat of paint, undergoing a 100,000 kms service and plenum pull. will polish/chrome everything while im at it, hopefully will be done before i leave as i have not driven it for about 5 months as is! Cheers, -James
