  1. Does anybody have the part number (either Nissan or ADL) for the top part, that connects to the handbrake lever, that has the threaded adjuster on it? -Barry
  2. Ive got some ball joints coming up from a Zed specialist in Bansai mag. ordered them while i was at work today so they will be here tomorow, hopefully get the job done over the weekend. Thanks for the offer, ill keep it in mind if i manage to break anything lol. -Barry
  3. I asssisted the MOT, the balljoint was literall hanging out. -Barry
  4. Had my Zed for 3 days and its just failed its MOT. Nothing too drastic, No reserve travel in the handbrake, O/S/F and N/S/F bottom ball joints and the horn doesnt work. Also the lowering springs are not sitting in the cup at the top of the shock and i dont think they are the correct springs for the car. Anyway, can the ball joints be fitted seperatley or do you need to fit the entire bottom arm? A set of srpings have been ordered from whiteline and we shoudl be back on the road by the start of the week. -Barry
  5. My works race evo uses PS2's as intermediate tyres on the track and they have superb grip and excellent life expectancy. We can run 2 or 3 full trackdays on PS2's as opposed to about half to a full track day on Conti's etc. You get what you pay for. -Barry
  6. All going according to plan ill have my zed by then, would be nice to meet some of the locals. -Barry
  7. I work for Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn. John and George are top guys on the performance side of things. Although we specialise in Evos and Subarus they both have piles of experience in anything performace related. Give us a call and speak to either one and see if they can help you out. 01501 741548 -Barry
  8. I went with the 260 so i could play Forza 2. Not had a chance to play the Wii yet, once ive had a go i might get one of them too, the controller seems... different. -Barry
  9. As i understand... GTS - Non turbo (R33 is 2.5 R32 is 2.0 but there is an R32 GT25 which is a 2.5 non turbo) GTST - Turbocharged (R33 is 2.5 turbo, R32 is 2.0 Turbo) Both of them are RWD with the exception of the R32 GTST 4 (i think) which is a 4 wheel drive 2.0 Turbo. GTR - The big one, 2.6 Twin turbocharged 4 wheel drive. Things like Type M or NUR are basically just special editions, i think they use the same engines as the standard cars. This is all off the top of my head and im sure there are exceptions but hope this helps. -Barry
  10. At age 66 you will die from a lethal overdose of methamphetamines.
  11. I agree, my point was that the "mainstream" mags, and by that i mean the likes of Max Power, Redline, Fast Car all seem to concentrate more on women than they do on cars. Single marque mags are much much better when it comes to concentrating on the machienery. It is a shame to see a decent mag go down the toilet, ive only seen 1 copy of it but certainly had potential. -Barry
  12. Its still rubbish though, i much prefer comic relief. -Barry
  13. Agreed, i havnt bought a car mag for almost 2 years because i want to see cars, not chebs. -Barry
  14. Gutting when that happens, i had that the other day coming out of a car park after going shopping with my old dear, moving about 5mph and somone came out of the car park straight into the side of the mothers car. Some people just have no clue when it comes to driving. -Barry
  15. My other half used to have ice cream on toast on a regular basis. -Barry
