  2. Hi guys. its me thats selling the car.. i know im not a subscribed member just didn't get round to sorting that part put :D. thought it was mike of here that asked me the questions. like mike says with a good mapping and other few tweaks the car should go very well.
  3. Sounds like a bad boost leak! thats my 2p worth :)
  4. Yep matey ya do, also abit of cutting depending on the bumper as i found out not so long ago!
  5. As a few of you know that there is a "cheap copy" of the HKS FMIC kit. But as a matter of fact i have found out from two sources that the one on ebay that sells for £350 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Front-Mount-Intercooler-Nissan-300ZX-Z32-89-94_W0QQitemZ250072914555QQihZ015QQcategoryZ10402QQcmdZViewItem) is infact made in the same place as the HKS FMIC, in other words HKS buy from autobahn88.. They also show you how they are made (http://www.carparts.com.hk/heatexchange.htm) Just thought i would let you know what i have found
  6. IMO i would never put 6X9's in the front of any car... you cannot beat a good pair of 6.5" 2ways, Like Diomond Audio or DLS TBH i would never us 6X9's full stop, but if you realy want a cheapfix for bass response on a budget then i suppose 6X9's fill the gap.. or you could use 6.5" and a few rolls of Dynamat Extream in there, and a 10" sub. thats the way i would go. :)
  7. OOOPs that was for HOW31|.... sorry
  8. Jimmer. I had the same problem as you. I rebuilt my engine with new wiseco pistons and egal rods.. etc.. i had the turbos recond at a verry well known recon place, and within about 15mins of my car running it started smoking on the driverside! So i pulled the engine out and it looked like it was the turbo! So i sent it off again and it came back with a clean bill of health. To be on the safe side i had a second oppinion and the results were the same. Also checked all the valve stems, anywhere that oil could be burned and all was fine. I rebuilt the engine AGAIN and it started smoking almost instantly, after getting through about 10lts of oil i decided changing my turbos for GT28RS's and its never smoked since.. it was a faulty turbo that no one of the turbo manufactures could find (including garrett). So my advice would be to buy Brand New and not second hand turbos! So my money would be %100 on your drivers turbo buddy ;) Thats my 2p worth.
  9. I would go with the GT28RS kit (Z1 GT675RS). it has good spool and holds realy hard. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_16&products_id=94 but you will also need other mods like bigger injectors and intercoolers.. oh and dont forget a bigger pekkie pump!
  10. yes matey there is a difference.. ive got both in the garage and there is a big change! the TT has a longer lobe!
  11. with abit of "jiggeling" and "easing" the IC pipe over abit they will come out, as for the compressor, you need a half decent sized one with a fairly good CFM rate, them little things just wont cut the mustard im affraid.
  12. I use silkolene Pro S 10/50 or the Pro R, have not got much choice realy as ive got 20x 5 liter bottles in my garage :)
  13. pic of me lump...
  14. you could always knitt your own
  15. lol heres a few pics of me car at the mo
