  1. Just one week left for advance ticket sales and club bookings! http://www.dorsetjapanesecarshow.co.uk/clubs.html If you buy in advance and state the club name to which you belong providing there are 10 or more you will automatically be grouped together on your own stand! You can just turn up on the day and buy tickets on the gate and still exhibit your car if you wish in the spacious 'Japanese Parking' area. There will be ample room so you won't have to worry about doors getting knocked or anything like that! It's looking to be an awesome day with more clubs and people buying tickets by the hour!! What more could you want from a show!!! 100's of superb Japanese cars & bikes on display, 6 live bands playing, Funfair with rides and amusements for all ages, climbing wall, bouncy castles, face painting for the kiddies (and the less mature adults!!), Rolling road supplied by RE:Worx for dyno runs, Fire Brigade rescue demonstrations, Show & Shine Comp, Traders, Great food & drink, Licensed bar... something for everyone be they 2 years old or 80 years old!! This will be a cracking day out and I look forward to seeing you there. STOP PRESS: While it may not be to everyone’s taste there is no denying a truly unique eye catching vehicle is going to be raffled at the event. For the small price of just £20.00 per ticket you could be driving away at the end of the day in the one off 'HELLBOUND' !!! For more info look here: http://www.dorsetjapanesecarshow.co.uk/hellboundraffle.html
  2. Ok guys, I see there are 10 of you interested. Any one of you can kind of take control of this. You can each buy your own tickets via the website if it makes it easier for you: http://www.dorsetjapanesecarshow.co.uk/booking.html just enter the exact club name where prompted and you will all be allocated space together (providing there are 10 cars) If there are fewer than 10 cars you will more than likely still be able to park together in the 'Japanese Parking' area. The site accepts debit and credit cards as well as paypal. If possible I would like someone to complete and return the official booking form with any additional info I may need and also so I personally have a point of contact within the your club. Booking Form: http://www.dorsetjapanesecarshow.co.uk/Club-Booking-Form.pdf Let me know if you have any queries: djccadmin@ntlworld.com 07980 167892 Cheers, Rob. :)
  3. NEW - Due to popular demand! If your club has fewer than 10 exhibitors then you will still be able to exhibit your cars at the show. In a slight change to previous plans there will now be a "Japanese Parking" area within the showground for everyone and anyone to exhibit their cars. The 'Japanese Parking' area will be set within the showground and is open for anyone to exhibit their cars or motorbikes. People purchasing tickets on the day may exhibit within the 'Japanese Parking' area but cannot reserve space within the area and space will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Advance ticket sales have also been extended until the 19th July 2009. Please visit the website and check out whats going on!! http://www.dorsetjapanesecarshow.co.uk Rob.
  4. Just a quick reminder about this event! Time is marching on and the event is looking better each day!! 6 fantastic bands are booked for the event who will be playing a great range of different music throughout the day to keep you entertained, along with a brilliant funfair with attractions for all ages! The Show & Shine has some fantastic prizes & trophies lined up so if you want to enter you need to get your booking forms in ASAP!! Most importantly…… Only 4 weeks left to book your stands and tickets so please do so ASAP to avoid disappointment!! Closing date for advance tickets is 4th July 2009! Don’t leave it too late!!! It’s going to be a fantastic day for all with some of the greatest Japanese cars in the country so don’t miss it!! Cheers, Rob.
  5. Update! The show is getting bigger by the day so I thought I’d pop in and give you an update! Loads of clubs have lists of names growing by the day and booking forms are coming in! The Funfair is going to be a little bigger than expected with a few rides and amusements for both adults and kids including the ever favourite Dodgems! Latest news is that there will be a professional stage with 4 or 5 live bands playing throughout the day!! RE Worx will be bringing along their Dyno for power runs! There will be a show & shine contest with lots of top prizes and trophy’s sponsored by Autoglym, Gem Grafix.& DS Automotives. Show & shine details and booking forms are all online. The newly revamped Redline magazine will be covering the show and giving it a full magazine feature! All of this will be in addition to lots of trade stands, great food and drink and much more! Here are a couple of shortcuts to useful pages: Club Bookings Show & Shine Getting There, Where to stay & FAQ If you’re at Japfest I’ll try and get over to say hello and introduce myself! If anyone has any questions at all about the event please feel free to drop me email and I'll get back to you ASAP - djccadmin@ntlworld.com Cheers, Rob.
  6. Thanks for the support guys. I've just got confirmation that we will have a mobile Dyno at the event for power runs and also should have the Fire Brigade doing rescue demonstrations for something to look at. More clubs are showing interest by the day so all being well it's going to be a cracking day out!
  7. I would like to invite all members of this club to the first annual Dorset Japanese Car Show (DJCS). The show is to take place on Sunday 2nd August 2009 at the Canford Park Arena near Poole in Dorset. With over 100 car clubs invited it's going to be a car packed day with the finest Japanese cars from the last 40 years on display. If 10 or more of you come along you will be given your own club stand area or alternatively if there are fewer than 10 you can still exhibit your cars on the 'Mixed Club' stand which will be within the show ground! There will be loads to do and see from fairground rides to climbing walls to a large range of traders offering special bargains! For more information and club stand/ticket bookings please take a look at the DJCS Website. The website will be updated on a very regular basis so please do check in regularly to see how things are going! If any members from the club would like to take control of organising a club stand then providing the club admin is happy for you to do so then please do go ahead via the 'Clubs' page on the DJCS Website. I hope to hear from you soon! Regards, Rob Edwards. Dorset Japanese Car Club - Director.
