Billing isnt shut
Have been to the VBOA rally at Billing this weekend, when we arrived there were several 'ponds' all over the place. Most displays and autojumble were moved and the show arena display was cancelled. The weather was lovely and warm both Sat and Sun so this had dried the ground greatly. Shame its been cancelled but like has been said "what can you do?" Great idea to arrange another national event :)

What Was Your First Car???
MG metro

Just been Charged on 3 Accounts.
Is on a public highway still, even if on the pavement, as said above it doesn't class as being off road? If you have no tax i'm surprised they haven't just towed it. They towed my brother in laws car from the pavement outside his house as it had no tax, he wasn't given any warning they just towed it. Insurance is needed at least to cover third parties even if not being driven. Worth fighting to limit the damage as said above.

HICAS leaking
The power cylinder on my zed's HICAS is leaking  It looks as though a previous owner or mechanic has caked it in grease or something similar to stop it leaking. Its leaking from where the pipes attach. Any ideas of where I can source a replacement power cylinder for the HICAS or should I get a HICAS eliminator?? Thanks in advance :)

Madeleine
Every 4x4 as far as I know - subarus, land rovers etc Working in and training other people in the childcare field I have to be trained in child protection procedures and what classes as abuse. If a nursery practitioner had left a child in their care unattended for a shorter time than the McCanns did they would be held on a case of neglect towards that child. In my eyes this is what the McCanns did....neglected their child, fair enough I bet they are going through hell and are distraught but how many of you who have children would leave your child in an apartment whether it be abroad or not to go and have a meal. Some social services workers are utter crap but others are really good at their job. Victoria Climbie was the African girl who was abused by her Auntie and Uncle until she died. Her mother had sent her over to have a better life in England. Social services, the police and NHS all had information that showed she was being abused but because they didn't share what they knew with each other they did nothing to prevent her death. They visited her at home several times over approximately 10 months before she died. The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) has been introduced alongside the 'Every Child Matters' framework to prevent such events occurring again. They basically state that all persons or organisations working with children and young people MUST share what they know with each other in order that any information that could show a possible abuse happening are passed onto a lead individual who has responsibility to do something....if they don't blame can fall to them
