i would go for a jap zed, my uk TT had bodged seals and arches , i would t rush take your time, idealy buy one with good history, recent cambelt, new turbo s , a good test drive is essiential get up to speed check for smoke from exaust, smooth gear changes especially on auto box [major weak link on the zed] brakes etc seized calipers warped disc s a common problem.

its not as much as you would think, i had the left side inner and outter sill replaced. It was 100 for the sill which i know is a bit cheaper than retail price, and 120.00 to prime it and weld it all in place which included a few other minor patches around the zed, if your not good with the torch its just finding a garage who wont try it on, i was told by 1 garage around a grand which i nearly went with cause i wanted the mot :dance:

yeah mate i will do, its failed the mot one side has had it the other sides not to bad, i don t know how easy the seals are to get though

hi all , my uk TT needs a new passenger side under seal for the mot and some patching on the drivers side are they easily avalible as a body shop bloke was t sure, i don t know if ill have to see nissan or is it an easy part to obtain cheers in advance if any one knows ..... :headvswal

hey all my TT has just failed on a few things mainly welding, on seat belt seals or something in a few places is this common and expensive or what . also an advisery oil leak on turbo not that i ever see any oil on my drive ever and it is stood for a couple of days sometimes , from underneath not an inner seal are they on the way out . many thanks ...

i would t bother paying zed world to check it , if theyve prepped it to sell, they wont even look at it you as they have checked it already you ll waste your money plus it has warrenty . very nice example very exclusive well done

yeah no sign of smoke or anything yet part from a little when engines cold but that goes ,the car has been looked after, its completly standard par from gear knob, could orignal turbos last 128 k if looked after. many thanks boy s / girls

Hey all i have a uk TT manual has done 128 k had it for about 6 months really pleased with it ,been going well but wanted to know how long the turbo s last will they be going about now or with the highish mileage they would of been changed by now , i ask cause i wanna change my exaust soon so don t know weither to play it safe with a cat back or de catt and finish off my possibly diying turbo s .cheers :duffer:

probably cause they have no 300Zx trained mechanics to work on one , all there s which were around when the Z was born have moved on . they can only manage micras now .

Don t take no shit from nissan , don t go there being polite , tell them there doin it and thats that its under warrenty so they have to. tell them its not your problem they don t know what there doing , the ll have to sub the job out or your be consulting a solicter, if i lived closer id go down there for you ...

Hey all when i brake hard at about 60/70 plus i get a bit of a gudder sometimes and pulls to the left, im not that confident with the rear wheel drive yet so this does t help any ideas its a uk TT, Many thanks people :duffer:

Hi ive had my hicas light coming on and off when cold starting which ive been told is normal this time of year ,so i bought some dextron 3 to top it up which i take it goes in the green container to the left of the engine ,but i went to and it looks pretty full so i did t bother, any ideas :headvswal
