I am definately joining in on the 23rd (dunno bout the whole w'end....we'll see!!) The last trip to Santa Pod was hilarious & looking forward to trying out the new kit installed in the N/A Z. Wish I could tag along with you this weekend but I have just bought loads of upgrades for my Z (body kit, zorst, wheels etc) so its being stripped this week & wont get it back for a few weeks. How p!ssed off am I !! Bet we have great weather this w'end too, damn, blast #@%* & bugga.... I guess your into proper long distance drives, great.... Nothing I like better than a blast from Folkstone to Brighton along the south coast, we should see if anyone else is up for it PM by all means matey Tata Stepe

Dear Paul C.... Hi, thanks for your response to my thread - You should have seen it the other Sunday.... three Z's (plus mine I guess) in one place on such a buzy day, fantastic !! Wish I could contact the owner's & invite them to a meet, a Thanet chapter would be great, wishfull thinking methinks.... I see you received an award for ZX advice, congrat's matey. Hmm, I've a question.... My gearbox is so loose & when in gear it feels like it's in neutral, 2nd, 4th & reverse all grind (alignment issues methinks after clutch relpacement !!!) can a sequential box be fitted & are they road legal ? Quaife did a fantastic job on my old Cossie (bit noisey tho....) Other than that, any ideas who would do a descent replacement without my pants being pulled down over the price ? Anytime you fancy a bevvy down this way (or vise versa) feel free to contact me for a Z chat etc.... Best regards Stepe

Will test the water with the local council for a photo shoot oppo in the harbour - see if we can literally own the road for the night. Knowing my local council quite well I'll probably be sent packing with my tail between my legs but you never know with these people.... If you don't ask - You don't get....lol Tata Stepe

Would be great for you all to visit Thanet (prefer Ramsgate Harbour - It's had a great clean up) Great on a summers afternoon, plenty of sunshine Shiela's !! :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :hurl: (don't tell the missis :cry: ) If the S/E organiser could get in touch, I could possibly arrange accommodation for you all at a great hotel run by Thorley Taverns - The Royal Oak Hotel, right on the seafront & superb bar & restaurant (lovely ladies too, lol). I could possibly organise secure parking for over 40 cars (my business address) we will have to see who's up for it....? Hi all, Last weekend (Sunday) I decided to take the Z of for a blat down the south coast to enjoy the lovely weather we were having.... but before I left Thanet I went down to Ramsgate Harbour for some refreshment & to my amazement I saw three other Z's parked up outside the "Rokka Bar" !!! one Yellow, one Met Blue (Nismo tail piece lights & crackin wheels!!) & one Red - what a fantastic sight. Are you local to Thanet ? Just curious if you three are Forum members & up for joining in on one or two of these meetings that are organised on here.... Hello, I have just joined this forum as I've bought an M-Reg 300zx Fairlady. Love the car but I'm having a few problems with the gearbox. 1st, 3rd and 5th gears seem to be OK but 2nd, 4th and Reverse are 'noisy'. Crunchy would sound too harsh in this instance. I've just had a new clutch fitted which is fine but discovered this problem shortly after. I really hope that this isn't going to need a new gearbox but am expecting the worst. I really need to find a specialist who can check this out for me and was hoping you guys might be able to point me in the direction of a few contacts. Thanks Steve :)
