  1. Hi Stu, this car has been off the road for a year and it did run fine when I was driving at that time, the car was also ok when I took you out in it. I did not know of any problems with the car but you are right about things been loose, I had to tighten a few pipes up myself when I first got the car (seems like you have found some more). All the work I have done on the car is top class, any shitty work was done by a garage that's why I started to do the work myself, the PCVs have been done like all work I said and as for trying to kill you! the garage put the wheels on when they did the wheel bearings. This car is still one of the best out there and if loose pipes and wheel nuts are the main problems what car I say. I not having a go at you bud because I think you are a top bloke. You could have still bought a car that needed stupid money spending on it.
  2. I live in Durham now so I take it to Black hill garage which is just up the road from me. Really sound blokes they were knocked out when I said I did the timing belt and the spray job, well everything on the car has been done by me.:D It was good to drive the car again and faces on other drivers one Skyline and a scooby:shock::shock: cool.:hyper:
  3. I know it's killing me:(
  4. As most of you know I am selling my car:cry: took it for it's M.O.T. (oil change on Saturday morning) today and it passed, it's never failed a M.O.T for me which shows how good this car is. What made things worse was the bloke who M.O.T the car has done a few and he said it was the best one he has ever seen.:cry::cry::cry:
  5. Make that three:D
  6. Happy Birthday:D:duffer::dance:
  7. If only you could switch between both, then everybody would be happy. :D
  8. happy birthday :nana2: :duffer: :duffer: :D
  9. I just had a quote on there and it was £180 more than I pay now. A-plan has always been the best for me £300 a year :D
  10. Spot the difference competition :nana2:
  11. Have you ever seen a front bumper like this before? not my cup of tea but the inside retrim looks very nice. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-Nissan-300-zx-Silver-3-0-v6-turbo_W0QQitemZ320222884087QQihZ011QQcategoryZ18238QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  12. Sounds like a pearl colour which are a little transparent but if the car has been primed it shouldn't be a problem.
  13. With this kind of colour the base coat would be green with the blue over the top and 3 litres per colour is enough, by the time you've mixed it with the thinners you would be looking at 6 litres of colour if you use a 50/50 mix. If it is a single colour 4 litres is more then enough, then you have the clear coat over that.
  14. That's going to looking amazing when it's done.
