  2. what do you guys think looks better the real JDM lights with the two horizontal black lines (the pin stripes) or the custom ones that i can make for $5 USD without the pinstripping. I could put the black stripes in but im not sure which one will look better and i dotn want to put it together and have to take it apart again to change it
  3. i love the fake JDM's....im making mine tomorrow cheers!
  4. i bought a set of iridium ones which are twice as expensive then platinum, what is the difference, between them iknow iridium ones has melting poitn much higher than platinum, i have a 90 tt, i drive around 10-15 miles everyday, i also run 93 octane fuel, how would this help my car, and how long will they last me? thanks veyr much
  5. yep, it took only about 4 hours, mostly because this is my frist car, and ive never worked on a car before, but this stupid tube was buried deep within where i had yto unhool liek half the cables, its all good now, and i odnt know why i didnt get ot it right away, maybe cause it was bad weather or i was busy but its fixed now, thxn for the help
  6. i decided to get to the bottom of it and i foudn out a small tube was leaking and it was leakign on a hto metal part causing the coolant to evaporate and therefore slemmy steam, i replaced the tube and no more problem, this is how ti looks
  7. yes i have stopped driving the car, and i am low on cash otherwise id taken her to the mechanic already, and ive driver her for a few days already
  8. when i drive the car it sdoesnt smoke, when i stop the car, the smoke comes out form under the hood behind the engine, and come out through the dash on the passanger side, and yea it does have a strong smell, so you are saying its most likely coolant, an di have to replace the piping?
  9. i will take a nother pic of the engine bay with this steam/smoke , there is no hissing but it might be some i odnt think steam would be this visible? but that stuff doesnt have a strong smell, so its hard to tell. Could you tell em what the heater hoses for?
  10. i have found that my coolant is leaking, and whne i checked how much was in the reservior, i found out it was empty, so i poured about a gallon in there, and when i finished i realized that its been leaking right through one of the hoses, for the past two days or so after driving the car for about an hour, there has been alot of smoke coming out form under the engine close to where the battery is placed, but its been coming form under the engine it looks as if it was oil being burned or if it was coming form turbos an dit was smoking pretty badly i took a pic of it if it helps, does anyone have anyidea what this could be? or mean? could it be the turbo? would i need a ne wone or is this all caused by the coolant, or maybe the oil? help is greatly appreciated sorry for it beign unclear its camera phone pic
  11. hey ugys, i have green liquid leaking form one of my pipes, it is behind the engine, almost by the winshield, there is rubber piping and it isnt fastened by anythign and you could tell that if there is pressure, it will ocme out and where it is connected it has liek a green ring aorund it as if its been coming out for a while, and likes its dried out and stuff, im guessing that would be the coolant? unless green liquids are used fore somehting esle? help greatly appreciated
  12. thanks for your help but i have found a solution, i hold the door handle, and they dont unlock theselves when i close them
  13. its the same thing, you dont have to get technical, im looking for a solution to my door locks , without having to take the panels off
  14. he said that im hearing the alarm arming itself when thats not it and if you say that it has somethign to do with the alarm, thne why doesnt it lock itslef when i insert/turn the key, it does the noise as if were to lock itself but the plastic handle doesnt move, and when i do it manually, it does feel like its hard to lock/unlock it, uthink your clever because you think your the only one that realized that, and your pointing out, but infact your the clever one because if i was i wouldnt be asking for help in the first place
  15. the clicking has nothign to do with the after market alarm, you misread my post, i said when i turn the key, and the doors are unlocked they try to lock themselves but they cant, when i take the key out and the doors are locked they try to unlock theselves, but they cant but i hear the motor or whatever the ****ign shit is used to open/lock the doors, but then i manually press the door lock, it locks it self along with the passanger side, when i unlock it manually, it unlocks the passanger side manually too, so what i think its wrong is that somethign got unhoocked or the motor isnt strong enough to lock it or its to tight maybe it needs grease, also im not deaf i can tell the difference between a grinding noise and a beeping noise
