thanks guys, joely i get a general harshness whilst driving on the front all the time over bumps but yes it does knock when i drive backwards then forwards.

I am def thinking of a carb'd 350 (simple engine) anyone fancy doing it for me ? (this is a serious enquiry)

I was just wondering if their was an obvious remedy for slightly knocking suspention at the front ? I have had the car up on the ramp and can see anything wrong apart from a split boot on the left hand side ? One thing worth mentioning is that when im going from reverse to 1st i sometimes get a knock and visa versa. Hope that made sense :p
