  1. Just spotted a G reg red import parked outside M&S in the centre of Milton Keynes (not far away). Lady driver (saw her load the shopping). Twin single exit exhuasts and after market side skirts. Regards, B
  2. Back on home turf again this weekend in Walton-on-Thames, Suurey. If anyone wants to meet for a beer drop me a line. lots of good pubs on the river. B
  3. Outside PowerHouse in Milton Keynes. Sporting a large set of chrome/shiny rims and cross drilled disks. Also seen a silver Z and a dark green one in wolverton Tesco's Regs Brent
  4. Had a similar problem to this my self. Have a look at the pad with the wheels off but still in the caliper. On my pads there are two little black wings (only way to describe them) on closest to the centre. One of these had bent in and was rubbing, have a look to make sure they are all level. Bent this back level and all was well. Other than an noise the brakes were fine and how it got like this i'll never know. Regards, Brent
  5. Not blond, but shades and lids is a possibility, would have been around Castlethorpe area and New Balden (or what ever that place is). Was driving round trying to find the big Tesco to get some beer. Regards Brent
  6. Can you post the number to get in contact with them. Changing job so think it is a good time to tighten the belt as having to move etc. Paying close to £1k at the moment. Regards, Brent
  7. Do a forum search under "gearbox". Markstevens has posted a thread about a freind who can do the work for £1000. I suggest you read all of the posts though. Based in aylsebury? Which I think is near Milton keynes! Regards Brent
  8. Does anyone know if the American size is legal on the back (Jap import). Looking at Courtesy, I really want one of those NISMO number plate surrounds. Regards, Brent
  9. Just been out to look to see if I can find the new one Jeff put in. Found it behind the cluster imediatley behind the driver. It has wires going into it at one end only. There apears to only be one for all the lights at the back. There's a lot of space back there and the wire is quite long so it could have dropped down out of sight. It's about two inches long, an inch wide and 3/4 inch deep. Hope this is a little more help. Regards Brent
  10. Had a similar problem. Had the car a Zedworld over the weekend so Jeff could look at it and rewire if necessary (mines a Jap import and the wiring had been reworked) and he changed something called a "light module". No, its not a bulb for the quick whitted who might reply. I can only describe it as a little black box of sorts. You would need to get in touch with Jeff at Zedworld as to where its located and what it does, it had burnt out seemingly. Not very expensive. Regards Brent.
  11. Yellow H reg UK spec (going by the rear bumper) at the A3/M25 junction. Slightly bent arial. First I've spotted in the local area. Regards, Brent.
  12. Its a Jap import auto and also had an oil change at the weekend. The money after looking at twinturbo.net is on the rear main seal. Cheers Paul. Having spoke to the mechanic now, its appears to be making its way out of a breather pipe in the starter motor. The thought is its pasing from one component to another as they spin and finaly getting trapped there and exiting. The car is thought to be drivable with regular fluid checks. I trust this guys advice and am interested to know how much this work would cost. Regards, Brent
  13. Well, just got a report back from the mechanic who has been looking at the car this morning. The opinion is that the oil leak is the rear main oil seal. A mix of gold and red oil was found. Oil is blowing back through the starter motor and onto gearbox bellhousing. He thinks the job should take a day tops but is not in a position to do the job. Checked rocker covers etc and definatley no leaks there. Had to get the report third hand as I am at work, but I hope this makes a level of sense to someone. Any advise on how much this would cost to get done? Jeff, is this the kind of thing you could do on a saturday? TIA Regards, Brent
  14. Cheers guys. Start the job a week today. Only accepted last week so as yet havent made up my mind what to do. The areas right, cheaper to buy than in Surrey. Not sure whether to rent or B&B in the early stages of the probation period. B&B will save on the council tax and other cost. Got to look at location to town centre so I dont have to drive the Zed to far and can save on fuel. It currently drinks £80+ a week at the mo going to work. Want to live close enough to cut that in half. If all works out then all will be welcome round when I buy/rent. Got a cracking huge projector which I use for Computer/TV/DVD so all will be able to come round, down some tinnies and kick back watching Fast and the Furious two on DVD by then. Thanks again guys, good to know your all out there. Will keep yas posted. Regards Brent
  15. Just a quick survey, got a new job there and will be moving there in the very near future. Would be good to see some friendly faces. Advice on places to avoid living round there would also be useful! Regards, Brent
