Sorted this out today so here's the official solution for future reference: Had to take my v5 (log book) and incorrect MOT to the garage who did the MOT for me. Then they have to fax these over to a VOSA office so they could verify that they are for the same car. Then VOSA will change the details on their database and then let the garage know it has been changed, then the garage re-print the MOT certificate. Cheers for all the help anyway people.

Theyre a bugger to get to arent they. Finally get to it and now I realise what was meant about 'splicing' spade and bullet connectors. For those who haven't looked, the car (jdm) has a bullet type connector but the h3 bulb I bought has a spade type connector. So what I did was replace the spade on the new bulb with the bullet from the old. Now this obviously means I'd have to do this whenever a fog bulb goes. So to those who have done this before, did you get another spade connector to put on the car side? Thus eliminating the need to swap conectors every time a bulb goes? Weird things though, since they act as normal lights when on and even though my fog light had gone the bulb still worked as a normal head/side (?) light. Why is that? And I also bought the wrong colour since my new one has a standard yellow glow but the old one had a blueish glow. Sorry to bore people with so much talk on connectors but I thought i'd share my zed (most awkward but rewarding car in the world) related experiences. Al

No I got one I went back and it turns out they have loads. I asked one of the older dudes instead. Now all I need is a job to use it on. Probably not till xmas when I get a set of compnent speakers.

Al's got a Dremel! A sad story I had to get the guy to get me one out the back as none were on the shelf. The one he brought had an open box which set alarm bells ringing. Then at the counter I was going to ask if I could check it was all there since it was already open. But I didn't do anything. I got home and thought "ok so whats missing" - Things like this always happen to me, instructions missing, accessories missing etc. So I open up the box and what's missing? The bloody Dremel! All I got was a plug that had been cut off. Turns out the dremel meant for that box is the one I was playing around with on display.

Yeah I got a similar one about some guy that hadn't payed me. Except I wasn't selling anything. Basically don't ever give out your username and password if an email link asks for it.

Did a little photoshopping to help me decide which rears to get. Basically this is a silver zed very much like mine, I like the venoms (thanks SGT C for your 6 pots ;) ) but thought possibly a bit lairy for a standard car. Anyway I think they both look pretty good but what do you guys think? Al.

What do they do exactly? I know they do a lot of things but whats the main use? I'm thinking they drill big holes and maybe cut into things kind of like a drill but with a bit that files sideways if you know what I mean. cheers
