i cant go either now car wont be back from bodyshop untill monday now:( unless i can cadge a lift off anyone and split the cost of fuel hehe :)

UPDATE.....car due to be back from body shop today, not getting it back now untill monday now so no Donington :( They had to take rear bumper off to weld new wheel arch on and half the back came away with it, they say and the small hole on the seal turned out to be a major hole once it was ground back to metal:( so they had to repair that, but it going in spray booth today :) just goes to show what looks sound may not always be, these hidden things happen where the eye dont see, its the price we pay owning an old car i guess

They wont get sent back you know that, just wait untill next year when romania and another country join the EU. I have to go through Harwich international in the train they have a big Xray machine the lorries have to drive through when the come off the ships

arse hole lucky there mate i made a little wooden ramp about 4inches high that i carry around so i can drive the car onto it to get a jack under, got me out of a few probs in the past, every zed should have 1. Theres an idea make and market mini ramps for lowered or kitted cars where its tight to get a jack under

my first zed was an Auto, was reasonably quick but imho they aint a patch on a manual. The manuals can handle higher tuning mods. Now thats gonna spark an argument :rofl: I would go for the manual personally

took mine to a guy at the market cost me £10 he done it in a few seconds might be worth seeing if there is someone at your local market that can do it for you, all i know is it looked like he plugged my phone into a phone he had dont ask me how its done but clever now i can put any sim in

they could of given you a year's free call time and unlimited txts to seal the deal lol

Tell me about it i been off all week and stuck in, car been in body shop having viper rear wing fitted and painted + couple of slight rust bubbles sorted out new rear wheel arch on driver side, miss the car like hell been promised it will be back today, doubtfull tho was hopeing to get to Donington tomorrow too. its possible you might have a slight turbo seal leak on that side and over night a bit of oil is leaking out which is then being burnt off as exhuast heats up, the white smoke could just be condensation as its starting to get damp at night now. could also be slight leak on a valve guide seal. Still dont quite understand what the boot has to do with it "(boot and zorst are both at back of car)" ?

or it could be cheap tesco charcole, i got a lot of smoke with that but blinding burgers :rofl:

am hopeing to get there if the car is back from the body shop tomorrow as promised. Not expecting to go on the track, just be happy to turn up and meet everyone. Even tho i havnt bought a ticket yet i presume i can pay at the gate? Would i still be able to park the car along side everyone else at the stand if there is going to be one? carl
