My first zx was an auto but it was seriously shagged(btw how you getting on with it Andy?) so I cant really comment on the differences between the 2 but I would never go back to one in a zed its definately the wrong box for this car. lol@SidewaysSteve: - I have a Stage 3 XTD clutch in mine and it gets very unhappy in traffic Queue`s.

Question for you Paul, how should these brake pads be bedded in? Softly softly or get a bit of heat in them?

Hi m8, I finally found the time to fit those brakes today - it was a pretty straight forward job with no major dramas apart from trying to figure out which way round the caliper brackets go :headvswal and modifying the back plates so they dont rub on the disk :headvswal :headvswal . Just need to get them bled properly now and all should be good. And before anyone says anything yes I know the wheels are manky :mac1:

shaving rash
I used to suffer from it and being in the mob(and shaving every day) meant finding away around it. First of all make sure your razor blades are sharp and clean, dont let your missus use them to scrape her minge and trust me she will think nothing of shaving her twat with a razor that you are about to put next to your face (filthy creatures). I have found it best to shower before shaving as the warm water and soapy bubbles help to soften the skin and stubble. Then apply your shaving soap and proceed to shave taking care to always go with the grain. Next and I find this most important is to wash off with clean warm water this keeps the pores open if you start washing off with cold water you will simply trap shaving foam and or dead skin cells inside your pores. Remember warm water to rinse off - trust me on this. Whenever I was on excercise and had to shave using cold water i would end up with razor burn. I used to use Nivea aftershave lotion stuff for sensitive skin (the one in the white bottle) but I have found recently that it is bringing me out in little spots so have stopped using it now. Just remember the newly shaved skin is delicate and tender so try to make a point of not rubbing your face with dirty hands and you should be fine. PS - For preference I use a single bladed 3-piece razor as they dont shave as close to the skin and are less likey to cause hairs to turn and start to grow inwards which can cause further problems and irritation. hth Mark and remember clean warm water to rinse off with and keep your razor blades under lock and key if you have to
