  1. hi. had an import few years back with illuminated sills and rear quater lights. inverters were underneath rear seats. looked like they had been fitted there as standard for that spec car.
  2. hi all. just reading up on the laws for rear illuminations on vehicles before i go down the road of rear panel lighting DIY ( thanks sussex stu for pointing out the you tube vid ). Think to keep within the law i will have to go with red ? think green can only be shown on a doctors car? so am thinking perhaps of tiny red 12v led's with a diffuser either wired to brake lights or side lights. has anyone been pulled over by the flashing blues yet for the same idea ? or come to think of it any other wierd and wonderful lighting modifications ?
  3. so its simply the internal size of each housing. thanks smithy
  4. have since then done away with the prvr system - seems to have totally cured the starting problem .

  12. hi all. does anyone know who to contact in the club regarding items advertised on here by another member that i payed for and never received. the guy wont even contact me to explain why. has anyone else experienced this ? ? i have been a member now for a while and so far found this club to be extremely helpfull for advice and parts. it would be a real shame if people started to abuse the trust and honesty promoted by most. any advice on this would be great.
  13. thanks jeff. will check
  14. thanks jeff. am waiting to hear back from one other at the moment. will be in touch.
  15. speed sender unit on gearbox faulty or dry solder joint to rear of speedo. nearly took out a fuel pump in a filling station when this happend to me. sometimes the speedo went the opposite way right off the clock- made the 4 wheel steer quite amusing at 40mph ! ! !
