  1. Love to know who your mum is insured with, thats just about half what I am paying. Any chance you can let us know..... or are you mistaken ????? Tony.
  2. Have a good look at.... http://www.chris-longhurst.com ..... Click onto 'Car Maintenance Bibles', then roll down just a little and click onto the 'Wheel and Tyre Bible'. When you get over half way down you will see a tyre width/profile calculator and further down an ideal tyre to wheel width calulator....plus loads more info. Hope you find this useful. Tony
  3. Had the same problem.... there is a ceramic tube covering the wire that runs down the side of the bulb. I gave the wire a slight tug to see if it was connected OK and discovered the wire was broken low down. This was easily fixed by hooking the remaining ends together and twisting the wire a little..... Of course I replaced the ceramic insulation over the greater part of the wire before the simple jointing of wire was completed. The ceramic tube can be broken two suitable sizes to keep most of this wire covered. Its been working fine for the last three or four months. Hope your problem is as easy to fix. Tony

Petroleum jelly, yeh the stuff from the chemist.... instantly stops the leaks, then after its been dosed up for a few weeks, it seems to soak into the rubber and expand it so you no longer require its use for months there after. I've been using it on and off for about 5 years now. Last time required was just before Christmas 03.......handy for other things too !!!?????????
