One of the rear wheels was refurbished by paul at swz at a cost of over 15o pounds. They were never put on the car after the refurb although before were used on my old car with no problems. I only kept the wheels because i had spent a lot of money on the tyres. Sorry if they have caused anyone a problem and glad everyone was ok. Regards Bazza

Yes its Pauls car with my old wheels that he still hasnt paid me for with toyo tyres. He is a zed man so why wouldnt he fix it himself!!

Just changed my Diesel round around . Was told £25 on the phone. Bought the car then told £150 because it was a automatic................... esure...

Are you Talking about a agreed insurance value ?as any value you put on it yourself means nothing if you end up making a claim..

I would worry more about the petrol costs . The petrol alone would pay for a good Diesel car..

I had a auto uk car and now have a manual jap and find you miss the control of a gearbox..

michelin pilot sport all the way for all year round driving... expensive but there you go...

one way is to buy one of the fm style tuners that uses the stereo as its tuner . about £40 if its to charge as well..

I use a citreon zsara hdi. most days cheap to buy and about 50mgn Diesel. Not a truck but with front wheel drive it is good when it snows......

Its is often hard to get insurance companys to pay the value you put on a car even though they ask you its worth when you insure it with them. You need to try and prove its worth with receipts and pictures plus find cars like yours to get its real value. It is probably best if you like your car to buy it back as you describe. Although the car will become a cat c vehicle . Good luck

I used to have a private plate on my last uk 300zx. I didnt manage to remove it before the mot ran out!!! 300 ybx. Nearest i could find to 300zx. I thought it was good to have a date less plate.

I found recently a bmw driver teasing me but it wasnt a race more of a burn by each other followed by getting thumbs up as i waited for the mtech bmw to catch me up. Athough you also see some idiots who i let drive past....

On both my cars i had to produce a certificate although both were fitted by a fitter. Still think its over the top to have to produce certificates because we all know what insurance companys are like when it comes to paying out !!

My last car like a lot of uk cars had some rust issues and in the end its became a tin can. Made the hard choice of starting again but with a immaculate late car. Probably works out cheeper in the long run.

Maybe i will make it next year and as 1997 car makes mine possible to take it..........for newest.. Well done everyone .
