  1. LOL spot on znut my Z needs a few bits of paint work.........matt black is becoming very tempting :tt2:
  2. tps checked and clean(except oil in grey block??? terminals all shiney) maf terminals all clean (got an apexi thing in there if that makes any difference) any explanation as to why hold mode being on sorts the issue? has been doing this for about 6 months now, day after heavy rain everytime for a few days, leave for a few 'dry' days and it rights itself like it has done today.
  3. think i may have rain water getting somewhere it shouldn't, car runs fine whenever its been dry for a few days(not often), day after a good downpour it doesn't want to shift up when it should (its a 91 jdm TT auto), it will run to 4-5k revs before shifting up and if you ease off the throttle revs drop, back on the throttle and its as if its in neutral. really is becoming a PITA, leaving it in 'hold' mode sorts it, but kinda spoils the point of having a zed, anyone got any ideas what it could be??? thanks in advance murf
  4. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=613_1232072712 ready to be shot down for a repost, but it made me chuckle:D
  5. spot on there, i just got a job starting next week:), been self-employed (following redundancy) for a year as i couldn't find anything and i've hated it, new job is quite a step back career wise, but it's a job. chin up to all the job hunters out there.
  6. bird, re the finally moving bit under your posts, have you ever had any luck with ya Z? i vaguely remember you getting it when i got my first n/a shed a couple of years ago, is this the same car??? mine died, had a year or so away from Z's then bought my TT, if it is the same car i admire your patience. murf
  7. if you intend on doing more than 20 mile blasts at a time, the R6 is meant to be uncomfortable..........awesome ride but uncomfy and hard riding unless you are caneing it. Would love the big bang R1 myself, but know i'm a little throttle happy at the best of times, thus the SV seems a winner for me right now.
  8. :hyper::hyper: pick up my new sv650sport in the morning :hyper::hyper: as you were murf
  9. mate has one of these....nice n sporty but a PITA if you're using it for anything other than a play thing, not a comfy bike at all. i'm toying with the idea of an SV650 sport (i need to behave myself, so this one makes sense) or maybe the Z750. hate making decisions!
  10. my bro has number 3..... oh the shame. it's the ssangyong cruise liner for those that can't be arsed to look
  11. 40p a mile....buy my Z, you'd just about break even
  12. mrs murf has broken the Z today:rant: have pulled off the scuttle panels and found a coupling in the middle bit(tech term) is broken, tried to bodge with cable ties then realised the scissor action of the system:headvswal have placed back together and seems to work ok???? i guess it's meant to have a pin/ bolt type thing going through the lot? question is will my wipers work for more than 2 seconds on a bumpy road and if not, has any one got one of the bits i need?
  13. :( saw a poorly Z in a friends recovery yard today, grey n/a (i think) k reg, nice wheels(the 2 that are still upright on the car that is;)) believe it belongs to a copper, thought of nick first til i saw the car
  14. because he can  my daughter does this kinda stuff, followed on after getting bored with gymnastics
  15. just noticed £5 + del, pick up anywhere for a fiver
