Hi All, I'm new to the club & just wanted to say hello ?. Thought I would share some pic's of my car if that's cool -she's a 1990 JDM NA Auto in grey with the lovely matching 'tweed' like interior. I've owned her since June 2019, she was imported to the UK in Jan 19 by a company in Wales and has covered 39,700 km now! I guess my intentions are to keep the car stock, although I have fitted some 17" alloys and tinted the rear windows, white indicators and a few other bitd, I maybe tempted by an aftermarket exhaust to really release that V6 purr but I'm not sure exactly what I'm after yet. I've removed a pair of HID's last week as it failed its MOT solely on these last week which I think is amazing for a 30 year old car and so far I'm pretty pleased with her...even of I've only completed 1250 miles her in 9 months of ownership.
My bro in law purchased a 1993 LWB TT shortly after I brought this, but unfortunately it turned out to be a lemon, the floor pan was rotten and badly repaired, the paint was tired as was the interior and it suffered from electrical issues that he could not resolve so he had to get rid of it which was a real shame. Although mine has been a little temperamental with the speedo going mad and a weird hesitation occasionally at speed I think she is a fine old thing and I'm pleased to own her, hopefully once lockdown is over I maybe able to get a few more miles done.
