  1. Whats wrong with yours Saz
  2. That just shows how poor the UK is for traveling, a double room for the night £55 is an outrage if you take your life into your own hands. I stayed at the Sheriton Towers in Singapore for £55 a night for a double room with en suit, emporer size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets the lot, and thats a 5 star with a butler on each floor and a dude in colonial dress who opens doors and calls you Sir.
  3. An 85-year-old man went to his doctor for his quarterly check-up. The doctor asked him how he was feeling and the 85-year-old said, "Things are great and I've never felt better. I now have a 24 year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. So what do you think about that?" The Doctor considered this question for a moment and then said, I "I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season. One day when he was setting off hunting, he was in a bit of a hurry and accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun. As he neared a lake he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water's edge. He realized he'd left his gun at home and so he couldn't shoot the magnificent creature but, out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it were his favorite hunting rifle and went 'bang, bang'. Miraculously, two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead. Now, what do you think of that?" asked the doctor. The 85-year-old said, "If you ask me, I'd say somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver." 'My point exactly." the doctor replied.
  4. Two women met in Heaven: 1st woman: Hi! 'My name is Wanda.' 2nd woman: Hi! 'I'm Sylvia. How did you die?' 1st woman: 'I froze to death.' 2nd woman: 'How horrible!' 1st woman: 'It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold, I began to get warm & sleepy, and finally died a peaceful death. What about you?' 2nd woman: 'I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act. But instead, I found him all by himself watching TV.' 1st woman: 'So, what happened?' 2nd woman: 'I was so sure that there was another woman there somewhere, that I started running all over the house looking. I ran up into the attic, and down into the basement. Then I went through every closet and checked under all the beds. I kept this up until I had looked everywhere, and finally I became so exhausted that I just keeled over with a heart attack and died.' 1st woman: 'Too bad you didn't look in the freezer - we'd both still be alive.'
  5. Si you are truley disturbed How can any decade that spawned the likes of Wham, Milli Vanilli, Vanilla Ice, stripey leggings, bleach blonde fringes, stock Achin and Waterman, the XR3i, Black lace, Timmy Mallett Oh it hurts, it hurts, I can't go on
  6. My PC has shit itself, its gone mad. I don't normally turn it off just let it hibernate, but this time I did, so go to start it up and get to the password and nothing, it wont let me in. So after a couple of hours I think i'll do an express recovery from the load up page, F9, wont even let me do that. And I can't find my good copy of XP to reformat :headvswal :headvswal

  8. If you have a series 3 cluster and series 2 cluster then the odometer plugs are different I believe.
  9. There is a garage in Daventry that builds them, the owner is part of the monster truck crew that set up the events last year and owns one called Swamp Thing (I think) The garage is called L.A Supertrucks and he has been on TV on scrapheap challenge.
  10. What size is the journel, if it is at the last undersize then its past a polish or grind and you need to be building it back up. If it say at 10thou under then maybe it will polish out or grind to the next size, get the bearing supplier to change the shells for the next size.
  11. My arse
  12. My mate used to call me MR strings, not cos i'm good but cos I kept missing the strings  I've been learning for about 15 years but only started makeing headway this last year or so.

  16. I have been trying to get my mate at work to go that route with his supra, but he went and put a crap veilside copy kit on it a ruined it. If he saw yours he would cry cos thats how nice they can look. Welcome to the club
  17. Go to the gym that will firm your arse up :D No just kiddin, as above realy stiffening the top end will highlight the fact that something is loose. Take the outer track rod off the hicas ball joints and check to see if they are shagged, if they are don't drive the car change them as soon as, you can check the inner joints at the same time, but its not as easy to see if the joints are rooted with the arm still connected so take it off. If they are ok then go for shocks. Like I said, if they are rooted don't drive the car your rear wheels will steer at will and could throw you off the road.
  18. Nice idea but as Steve said you haven't mentioned age or mileage, Series one 89-92? Series two 92-93? Series three 93-94? Series four 94-96? Someone correctme if I'm wrong please And as most are over 15 years old you need to take into account maintanence and service history, think about it if you find a UK 91 2+2 TT that has been sat in a garage most of its life with 35k on the clock and every stamp you could think of, then its worth more than a 94 Jspec with dudious history and a few gizmos fitted. IMHO
  19. I feel bad, I have been wrapped up in my own selfish world this weekend and then i read others are suffering. I'm so sorry for those left behind to feel the loss I'm now going to have a drink for Jay and think of his family and friends R.I.P
