Is it ok to bypass the marix while i wait on a replacement ?

found one for 70+vat and ordered it, just waiting on delivery, but the car is also booked into The Garage to get the box done on thursday, and would prefer it was running :slap:

Yeah its a simple job, mine was bypassed for a year till I got round to pulling the dash out.

Just make sure the pipe you used doesnt kink and limit flow. I used some copper pipe from local diy store that was like a bendy straw.

Kinking the pipe is not a problem as the flow is a branch feed to the matrix only, no matrix no flow required, in fact when the matrix is used under normal conditions and the heat control is to minimum the flow is shut.

So you could just stick a bung on the end of each pipe?

Yeah I remember to cable operated flow control as the cable is a cow to put onto the new matrix!

Yep.
