Hi All,

Has anybody had a custom system built for thier zed? I've just had a twin exit with quad tail pipes cat s/s back built & fitted by longlife. Im very very happy with it,sounds & looks awesome, i will try and get some pic's up when it stops raining, the staff at the cardiff ( caerphilly ) branch are exellent & i would highly recommend them:bow: So anyone who wants some exhuast work done on thier zed ring em on 02920 861212 :D

I dont have a custom but i do have a quad exhaust. 3.5" each tip and they do sound very nice :)

I dont know how to upload a soundclip yet mate, but will try over the weekend along with some pics:)but the sound is awesome, I went for mild sport because i do some short motorway trips & didnt want her to be too loud, She now sounds a bit like my brother inlaws Audi s5 ( 4.2 V8 355bhp ) but with a bit more grunt:cool:

How much did this system cost u m8?

I been lookin round for replacement stainless system for my N/a, only thing I could find that was within my budget was 300 quid from Ebay not sure what it would be like compared to other more expensive systems.

i feel e bay is always a gamble on the 300 ie:>> sometimes the product quality is superb and will be ideal replacment part !!

 

BUT others will be poorly made inferior quality parts mass produced to cost , dont get me wrong i LOVE flee bay and have ordered some smaller parts but prob wont other my exhaust sys off there

 

will definetly take to garage get a design drawn up planned with the mechanic and then made and fitted

 

(as i also want a quad sys and i think there are only a handfull of companys that make them so another reason to go for a from scratch sys for me lol)

I've had a full Longlife Stainless on mine for the last 4 years with custom decat pipes made by Pro Speed in Cardiff, does sound rather good.

Yep there are some pics in my garage. Its an AB flug exhaust and very very rare. more so than the veilside one i believe :)

i had a HKS one on my old 300zx it was the biz:hyper:i had a full stainless on first and had to chuck it . it was bloody imposable to drive.just far to loud. dont get me wrong i love loud .

i have got a cat back stainless on this one and its just right. it was on the car when i got it so dont no what make it is but sounds good.but when i have a bit of cash might change it for a HKS one.

i1ve had longlife on mine since i got it ,tis loud enough for me nothing worse than a drown of a loud exhaust on a long journey ..

No they dont do sound samples but the mild sport is lovely:D a nice rumble around town and not to loud on the motorway:D
