thinking about getting one of these as a runaround

need something as a daily driver thats comfy, easily seat 4-5 smooth cheap on petrol and still looks nice, with some nice amg alloys and double quad exhaust with a qieut but deep rumble.

was looking at e36 bmw coupe upto 320 but there too expensive.

 

anyone know anything about these cars?

I had a newer c180... it was ok, boring to drive and riddled with electrical faults... that said, the older mercs (and newer ones now they've sorted their reliability quite a lot) are pretty decent cars... years ago had a 2.6 190e which was pretty good in an old school way!

 

wouldn;t say good on fuel though! i'd get low 30's from mine, although I never drove it particularly easy.

Looks ok from the pics mate :) However i know it sounds blunt, but feck the colour! Pick one that is running perfect and is gonna serve you well ;) :)

 

Also i'll say it again, check mercs and bmws of that age for signs of corrosion, they are prone to it :(
