Can anyone please help me?

Ive just gone and paid 1500 euros for a 18.4 inch Acer Aspire 8920G laptop thinking i could configure the English language on startup as the book is in english.

But it doesnt give me that option:confused:

Also as its a Spanish keyboard the @ is on the top on the same key as the number 2.How do i use it?

In control panel go into "Regional and language options" and you can change language and keyboard layout :)

Hi Vijay yeh i tried that but its still in Spanish and allthough i speak a bit of it i would still prefer it in English.

Ive just downloaded a language pack on my other laptop so fingers crossed.

But it'll still have a Spanish keyboard , right ? AZERTY rather than QWERTY etc.

Brother inlaw got a replacement keyboard from ebay i think he paid £35 for one

i know in work to get the @ key to work you have to hold in shift and press 2/"

Hi Chris thanks for the reply i wwent to the shop today and asked but they cant do anything until Monday when Acer technical support are open.

Its just i have this bloody big paving slab sat on my coffee table and i cant do anything with it.

I have a Compaq Pressario V6000 which i am using now,but compaired to that its like a palm pilot.LOL

I know, Saturdays are a nightmare - as I found when Dazley insurance couldn't get me my Jap imort ins quote coz their system went down!!
