Its been nearly three months with no zed, Z Tech still have it, fed up of driving around in a faded red 1.4 k reg Astra with no power steering and no poke, I so want it back as its my everyday car, will just have to be patient, it will be worth it in the end, I hope.

I have to say mate i do like andy and think he's a nice guy but if your having this much bother i'd suggest doing exactly what i did.

Go to phil mate. Seriously he is brilliant. Mine would have been done completely within a couple of weeks if i didn't have bother getting the bits there, having to source the rest of the turbo kit and then having to get a new shell etc.

He keeps in touch and has sent me pics showing how far along he is and stuff. He's always been up front and honest with me about everything too. Pm me if you want any more info etc but taking the car to phil was the best thing iv done since owning my zed and he got an excellent reputation. . . Now i know why!

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

:( Dissapointing to hear. Its very likely all your old stuff was sold off by Ryan and his brother. I was up there just before Ryan sold the business, and was offered a Billet torque convertor (which I did'nt buy) along with a whole stack of other stock and aftermarket parts that he was selling for cash before Chris took over.

sounds about right m8

fooooking con men

total set of ****ers

BIRD.....no i never did get it sorted, he just disapeared and sold ZTECH on to someone else

No mate still not sorted:(

But if i dont get it sorted soon i will be up there with a tow truck and transit van.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR M8, AND GO GET IT BACK

otherwise it may end up on the scrap heap

thats if you ever see it again

surely although the place has been sold the business is still liable for your goods tho mate

The problem is, is that i work in Spain and when ive threatened to take it to Phills he has always come up with an excuse so ive given him another chance.

The phrase out of sight out of mind comes to mind.

Anyway things are finaly coming to a head now and it shouldnt be much longer as its only the gearbox to mate up (so he says).

Im sending someone around next week to check on it..as i have a lot of money invested there and i want to be able to use it.

Has anybody been up there latley and seen an engine with Pentroof manifolds sitting around?

I don't think he'd get rid of your parts or anything mate. I think he's trust worthy enough i just think he's taken on a lot of work and probably needs to do the little jobs to keep him going financially etc. But i wouldn't worry about your bits. Seemed to be okay when i got mine back anyway.

I think it would be a good idea to have a proper chat and set proper deadlines.

I know thats easier said than done but i think its a must. When i said i was taking my car elsewhere he said what if he sticks to getting it done within x amount of time etc etc but i still thought it would be better with phil for time and as said previously he's been spot on

Bloody hell mate, very scared now as their has been a lot of money spent, is their anyone up that way who can check on it for me?

Count yourself lucky.

I was without mine for over a year. (engine rebuild)

Get it mapped and drive it around for 2 months and what happens??? it blows up. It's now in another garage having a new engine built and other misc work doing.

Was that the new Z tech or a different garage?

surely although the place has been sold the business is still liable for your goods tho mate

I DOUBT IT WAS A LEGAL PURCHASE OF THE BUISNESS ANYWAY M8

and can you imagine the grief of trying to pusue it through the courts

especially whe all my payments and dealings were in cash (no reciepts)
