Firstly, your warranty is voided if you turn traction control off, and Nissan will know as all the data is saved to an on-board computer kind of like the Exige has which tells you how much it's been cained basically;

 

 

And also, there is whole page in the maintenence records for having new transmissions, which isn't very promising;

 

 

Apparently a few gearboxes have already gone on new some new GTR's (probably caining the launch control) and there is a 9 month waiting list for replacement ones.....

O well they have the money to buy a GTR so they will have the money to fix it:rolleyes:

LOL i'd be too scared to turn the traction control off anyway :wack: :o

 

Also it says transmission assembly, so maybe that includes smaller repairs to the transmission itself........then again maybe not, lol.
