anyone had any dealings with "main eco 25 he" boiler, a freind has aked me to fit one for them and i havent had dealings with them as i use halstead and worcester boilers mainly. are they any good or not, they seem cheap to buy

we dont really fit any bopilers anymore, actually dont do plumbing much anymore, but main are a good make, have been making water heaters for years, we have main medway's, severns and so on in our propertys and they are over 20 years old and still going lol

reckons they are worcester copies and made in same factory- just sell for cheaper prices - *****x or not i dont knwo but thats what he said - they are being very agresisive at the moment though

Thats total *****x...........Main is a Baxi product no way would it be a rebadged worcester boiler

 

Dipone.we fitted loads of main m/points but never touched any of there combis,they seem to have a good backup service,but my opion stick with worcester [never fitted halstead] we are fitting 5+ a week and have done since we dropped vaillant in febuary,and have had no probs at all

i only fit worcester since ideal let me down on 3 consecutive installs

ideal are made with other manufactures parts used to be alot a biasi, there is alot of boiler makers that build boilers and not make them. which worcester boiler do you use, i really like the juniors they my favorite boiler to install as the jig that you pipe in is second to none, as for halstead there new eden range are very good hardly nothing in the boiler to go wrong and have been very reliable unlike there old boilers

i'm not that keen on the cdi's i think there is to much in them and they look old technology compared to most band A boilers

No what you mean but back up service second to none;)

 

Been a vaillant customer since 1982 and we were there top 1 off domestic htg company in Bristol for 11 years but since they have had a prob with the ecotec+ :hurl: there back up is absolutely crap and i have dropped them like a stone.
