Big subaru parade from Scotland to Banbury (prodrive) in memory of colin McCrae apparently peeps came from all over the world and a lot drove over from Europe.

My neighbour went to that and just told me there was a convoy of no less than 1300+ Subarus decending on Pro-Drive at Banbury! Must have been some sight!

1,000 Imprezas honour ace McRae

More than 1,000 Subaru Imprezas visited Prodrive in Banbury today to pay tribute to the late rally ace Colin McRae.

The Subaru community assembled behind Colin's 1996 Impreza 555 rally car for a 20-mile long convoy on Saturday heading to Prodrive's test track in Warwickshire.

When they arrived the cars were parked to spell out the words Colin McRae'.

The rally cars joined a 300-mile convoy from Lanark to Banbury in tribute to the driving star.

The former World Rally champion died along with his son, Johnny, and two family friends in a helicopter crash near his home in September last year.

Almost 10,000 people turned out on the streets of Lanark for the memorial service held a fortnight after Mr McRae was killed.

Loads of vids of this on youtube from the bridge spectators, best car get-together ever tbh. Pretty wild watching a vid of the motorway with almost entirely subaru's going past for a solid 10 minutes!
