Hi guys,i have been looking for a 300zx convertible 94 onwards for some time now and found a nice M reg for sale but when i contacted the seller to ask the condition of the car in particular the roof, before viewing,he said there was a small crack in one of the plastic quarter windows and was wondering if any vert owners here have had that problem and if the can be replaced?

Cheers

Ron

I would imagine a trimmer/vert roof repairer would fix that no problem! Have a quick ring round. HTH :)

mine has a small vertical crack next to the stitching on the rear plastic quaterlight , caused probably by the way it folds the roof. to be honest its the least of my concerns, just avoid aiming the hose straight at it when you wash it. mine leaks where the roof meets theh window (drips onto my arm) and through the stitching between the top and back off the roof where it sits on the roof bar

i have been looking at replacement roofs on ebay from america, work out about £200 delivered. just woried they may be cheeper quality than stock

cheers guys i will look into it as it would be a shame to let a car go for something that may be easily repaired, may even look into the replacement roofs too.

Cheers Ian for letting me know about other areas of the vert roof,i'm trying to find out as much about this model as i can before buying as i've had 4 years trouble free motoring with my current Z and i'm hoping i have the same when i finally get one of these
