I've currently got a set of rather good looking 17" alloys in need of a refurb but I've never heard of the make before and I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me with more info on them or the maker?

Each of them has a centre cap that says "Designed by Clive Gem(?) Ballon(or Buller?)" (not entirely sure if this is correct as the signature is a bit hard to read!). This signature is also engraved into the face of each alloy (see photos below).

If I didn't already have a set to go on I'd be keeping these as I've always been a sucker for a five spoke wheel with a nice dish but needs must when the Devil drives so they'll probably be up for sale shortly.

Hi Leigh

When's the next Gig ?

Alright Tony! We've got a bit of a lull in August as my drummer is away for a week then my guitarist is away for two weeks but September is sizing up to be pretty jam packed at the moment. Waiting for dates on a couple of Bar Academy gigs, but got one confirmed at The Actress and Bishop http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/26/26451/Actress_and_Bishop/Birmingham

Weirdly, there's also the possibility of a festival but that's still unconfirmed ;)
