hi just wondering if any1 can clear this up for me my z failed on exhaust emmissions and i was reading about this in the faq area just wondering if mines should have went through the pre 92 test after it failed here is my results its a 1994 by the way lol

fast idle

co - 0.69%

hc - 69 ppm

lamda - 1.022

 

second fast idle

co - 0.32%

hc - 128

lamda - 1.053

 

natural idle

co - 0.31%

 

any input will be greatly appreciated cheers

IIRC a TT isn't on the database so they have to put your car through as a N/A which should pass no probs (unless you have serious running issues) I catually had to bring the flowchart into the garage to show them what they should be doing! lol

I had the same problem but he passed it anyway. Came home to see why they were so sky high. but he also put it on the std check insted of the advanced (non cat) test :smash:

 

Took it back and she passed :D

your car should be tested to 3.5% co and 1200 ppm hydrocarbons at natural idle speed, its not on mot emissions data list so gets tested to earlier emission limits.
