Is the slicktop lighter than the swb targa model does any know buy how much just wondered.:)

Featured Replies

Not a huge amount - 30kg , providing spec is the same. Although a lot of slicktops came with other weight saving measures that would make the difference larger - manual seats, No ABS ...etc

You also have the additional stability factor to consider.

I only say this becuase if you are thinking about weight saving you are probably also thinking about performance aswell.

the slicktop is around 100kg lighter than a LWB targa ;)

BTW how much does removing the aircon save?

16kg. Not as much as most would expect I imagine...but there is ofcourse the added airflow/cooling benefits to its removal.
