I have had 3 in differant cars but the novilty soon wears off. Plus what i have found is that the sound is

no were near as good as a proper Cd player

got a friend of a friend selling a alpine mobile media station iva d300rb for 180 would it be worth it? he said it just needs a conection at the back.

well worth it for that price mate. they were over £1k new. find out if the nav disc is with it as well.

he did mention the navigator not sure if i could trust him lol. 180 for a 1100 unit, not unless i heard wrong.

I bought a brand new cheap one and it ran my battery down, so i bought a new battery only to realise when it ran that down too, that i had paid for a brand new battery and thrown away a superb battery :rant: If you're gonna buy one, buy a good one ;) :)

you'll be able to re-wire it to stop the drain... probably just a problem with it powering from the permanent live instead of switched live...

It was ok for a while though, and then went like that :( , infact i had a bmw 325 which i fitted it to first and it worked fine the whole time in that and then it worked for quite a while in my zed :(

the dvd player was a no brainer lol, meaning it didnt have a brains, something which i didnt know a dvd player had to have. so i refused and will wait.

i bought the same alpine one from ebay for 180 including a brain this time but i dont like the fact the screen has to keep popping out, so im going to sell it as today im going to buy a double din kenwood one. i ve fitted my ps2 and sub to the alpine and the quality is amazing. also ordered a cheap freeview t.v. box.
