I went on the powerboat with my 11yr old niece for he birthday and her mates was a good trip was real good fun, I know that the experience with us adults will be hell of alot more fun and only £12 each...well worth it or the karting which is also excellent fun for £39... not bothered either way what we do but I can tell ya we will have fun including a blast in our z'ds:)

Changed the date, this will now be 31st August due to some members not being able to attend. So lets try and make it a good one cos have been asked to enter some pics for the 2009 calender from each region and would like a good turn out so can can do some good pics:D

 

 

 

 

 

How is the Committee deciding on the format of the calendars and can I have my car featured in next year’s calendar?

 

This issue was also discussed at the Committee meeting. We felt that this was another problem with previous year’s calendars. Only 12 Club members had their car featured each year, leaving a lot of unhappy members.

We have decided to offer one month to each of our Regional REO’s. They will be asked to forward some high quality / resolution pictures of the best meet they have held in 2008. This will give us the opportunity to feature many more club cars, rather than just one car per month. We will be looking for group shots with ideally, some good scenery.

I will be contacting the REO’s over the next few days with more details.

Well, have changed the date to try and suit, but as its only us Plymouth lot that have names down this meet will be going ahead...if I change it to week after the response will be too close to zedfest and just spent loads going to JAE, so its staying the 31st..dont think any of the cornish attending jae, so the might attend this

Contacted the kart place yesterday, and after reading open 7 days a week thought that would be open on the sunday...received email back saying closed sundays:headvswal

 

So, not sure if any of you that are interested (jase, murt, oldzed, borderzed n fastourer) will be able to make monday 1st, tuesday 2nd or wed 3rd but thats the choice now....So please could state your preferences if able to attend. Otherwise it will just be as per list below :( Its really annoying that we cant go on the sunday but out of my hands, sorry guys:rant:

Had a thought. Years ago there was a quad biking centre at a place called Blackwater which from memory is not too much further away from the karting track. Is it still there/anyone interested?

Sorted, they are open Sundays and well within driving distance....... They have bigger karts that I fit in as well LMAO. Im well up for a pub meet if anyone fancies it sometime?
